Good window for me I thought we needed a right back, a couple of strikers and a extra midfielder We got the two strikers - both with good credentials and not freebies like the last few windows Matos is a very exciting young midfielder who we did well to get Spencer has come back and looks a different player - I think he solves the right back worry and in the very least deserves a chance in that position Then we also got Balker - who is a bit of an added bonus. Again with pedigree (and big fee) but adds something we've been missing ... pace at the defence You could argue with Turtons injury we could have got more cover there but I guess we couldn't shift Edwards (or you hope a new manager gets a tune from him as Warnock saw something there) Has he lost 2 stones?Good loans out as well for Hudlin, Ayina, Austerfield and Olagunju which should develop there game. All should play regularly and fingers cross at least one kicks on like Headley or Harrogate last year or Spencer at Motherwell

Anyone done a comparison of our transfers with our competition?
I would be interesting to see how everyone else got on in the transfer window, did we strengthen more than our opposition?

Cannot really judge the players yet, time will tell. But purely from an investment point of view, 3 million + on players and getting shut of Moore is a good window in my book. Agreed. I think our owner has had a very promising window but it's too early to comment on those reporting to him.

A list of the transfers in the championship would be a start?

Though Balker did well today, and Matos….two decent signings Matos played well today and Baulker improved after a shaky start. More of a worry are our 2 new strikers. Healey hasn't done anything to date and will probably be out for a while now and Bojan looks slow and needs to toughen up. Early days granted, but not impressed with the money we've spent. Best move was bringing Spencer back. Looks a different player now

Healey did very little but wondered if he was playing out of position. 29 years old, not done much at this level previously and had a bad injury. Both have a huge amount to prove. Cartwright must be a little concerned at the start they’ve made. Not sure what the transfer fees involved were? Anyway. Great win after they’d both gone off. UTT

UTT Saw enough against Blackburn and Man City with Radulovic, he’s talented and tidy on the ball, slightly concerning that’s he’s been roughed up so easily but pretty sure he’ll come good. Not as sure on Healey but if we start playing more offensive football I think he’ll do at least as good as our other “striker”.

The centre back and Matos are OK but Healy and Radulovic look awful.
