Just wondered who knew anything about the recruitment process at football clubs?
I guess we have a HR person / people / department, and that is an umbrella over all parts of the club. If the club seeks recruitment they are involved and likely use recruitment agencies and maybe specialist headhunters for senior or specific roles.
Whilst the DOF role is about recruitment it’s also covering other elements of the footballing side.
Does the DOF have agencies or specialist headhunters to recruit for a manager or are they actually classed as the ‘headhunter’?
Will Cartwright rely on his own black book or are there agencies and people he will in turn hire? (Who we won’t ever know about?….)

A lot of clubs technical directors do the hiring and firing. Presume each club/owner/people have their own way of doing a process. |

Yeah just wasn’t sure. Like the ‘marketing director’ in a business may well use agencies and specialists for projects I didn’t know if someone like MC was 100% doing it hands on or using external agencies
