We had enough 04's when Moore was in charge

Yeah, because it was going brilliantly until he did that, wasn't it? The owner even Tweeted the QPR game was a must win for Moore. You don't half talk some shite. It's Healey btw. Me and him don't get on but even I think he's taking the piss a bit 🤷 That drip wouldn't know sarcasm if it slapped him in the face.

Think this is an exciting appointment. The transition is going to be key though. With 14 games left and no real margin for error at the moment I’d be a little wary of a new manager trying to fully implement a new way of playing right now. Especially the way the “shackles off” approach has brought life back into the squad. I’d like to see him keep JW around for a little bit whilst slowly implementing small parts of his philosophy but keeping this momentum going. Then preseason he can go for it fully with the squad already knowing the basics.
Or he could just come in, beat L***s 4-0 and do what ever he wants.

2024 versions of Kachunga, Löwe, Schindler and Hefele, and not forgetting Stankovic and Quaner (we’ll forgive Paurevic) will do very nicely this summer.
Exciting times ahead indeed. Thank you KN. Now for three points on Saturday and a rousing send off of appreciation to JW and his assistants as they presumably all return to their old roles.

An exciting appointment. Good luck Andre. It will be interesting to see who his coaching staff are too when they are announced. Can we - for once - have a decent long duration, capable manager, and stability. If he turns out to be a Germanic Shankly or Ian Greaves, I'm happy.

Looks like the very best appointment we could have made, I'm quite chuffed really! A genuinely exciting CV, and described as playing the kind of football we all want to see.

It appears that the club actually did some research this time around.
Lets just hope that they don't come out with daft stories that we got with DM's appointment. Seeing as they don't need to justify the sacking of a manager this time around we should get a more considered approach.

Will Portugal finally admit he got it wrong with regards to Moore? The endless criticism of posters who said he wasn’t up to the job and that we wouldn’t be able to attract anyone better. Even Worthy (a guy who has never managed a first team before) comes in and shows us what can be achieved with common sense tactics. It pisses me off royally that we had to put up with moore for 23 games and severely handicap ourselves in the process; all the while you Portugal kept telling us we were akin idiots or spoilt children. Even when I said before the Blackburn game that moore had two matches or he was gone, you condescendingly posted that I was talking shite. Good luck to the new guy, he genuinely can’t do any worse. The constant blaming the manager is probably his issue. Sometimes the players have to accept the responsibility. Looks like JW is getting a tune but the change in options is also huge And I’m not defending DM. As for the new guy can’t do any worse. You must have a short memory as nobody thought anyone could do worse than Schofield. And that’s been the case many times in my 47 years

Worthington has done him a huge favour, taken the pressure off and bought some time.
Or you could argue 2 weeks ago everyone thought our team was rubbish and even relegation wouldn’t be the new guy’s fault.

Siewert was the most exciting attacking appointment in towns history. He wanted to play 3 attackers and press up the field to score goal after goal. Unfortunately he wasn't backed with a billion pound budget and then his football didn't meet expectations, hardly his fault. UTT

Why does PT need to admit he was wrong. They had information which they shared, they had an opinion like everyone else. Nothing to see here, or apologise for.

Don't get the 04 reference? Schalke 04...Fußballclub Gelsenkirchen-Schalke 04 e. V., commonly known as FC Schalke 04, Schalke 04, or abbreviated as S04, is a professional German football and multi-sports club originally from the Schalke district of Gelsenkirchen, North Rhine-Westphalia. The "04" in the club's name derives from its formation in 1904. Perhaps we should start a new era by FC Huddersfield 08...

Quite excited by this appointment, certainly has a lot better credentials than our last two coaches from Germany, who’s CV’s seemed to consist of putting the cones out for Felix Mcgath and the other taking PE lessons.
Time will tell, but I’d rather some one like this be appointed than another journeyman English lower league manager who doesn’t really fancy the job anyway.

Never heard of the bloke. Is he any good? Are you all getting excited in typical fashion when you fook all about him or is he really that good. Someone I know inside the club who's connected to the club and knows a bit about it says he's 67% good with a 91% chance of getting better if things go his way

Looks like an ambitious appointment
I Just hope he’s bright enough to speak to JW and crew about what to expect from individual players.
The last week thing we need is that ‘back to the drawing board’ bullshit that DM thought was a good idea.

Probably just sorting all media/marketing bits DTS preparing his, “so when did you first hear about the interest from Huddersfield Town?” It was much better when Illingworth and Gregory did the interviews.

Don't get the 04 reference? Schalke.. He was their manager 8 years ago and he's managed multiple teams since... Why 04 is still my question?

His first home game against Leeds on telly, what a start.
Got a great feeling about this guy based on his track record. For Nagle to bag this guy suggests he’s sold him the dream, could bw another wild ride.

Interesting that it says he had an offer from turkey, Germany and interest from an international team. Wonder who it was, Sweden were looking weren't they? 👀 Besiktas and Kosovo I’m sure I read.

None of them would qualify for a work permit now so we’d have to use the new ESC slots and we’ve used two on Balker and Radulovic.
