He obviously had no intention of staying. Wanker. Never liked Stone Island the chavvy card. Gave me Nazi vibes Not appropriate IMO.

I'm actually waiting to be underwhelmed again. Zero expectations. You will be when it’s Duff announced…

So so frustrating. And there was me actually hoping he would stay. As time went on I suppose it was clear he was leaving otherwise he would have just said I’m staying. What are we now to think of all he said? Was it all true? Partly true or just him covering his back? It’s annoying that he clearly wants to call out players for thinking they are better than they are but then says ‘I’m too good for league 1’. If you’re that good then stay and prove it with one year in league 1 possibly doing an Ipswich the next season. Clearly wasn’t as committed as he wanted his players to be. Next coach? Not sure but mid table is not good enough. Automatic promotion please.

Pretty meh with that. What frightens me though is that AB fell into Cartwrights lap, and I don’t have any faith that he will get the right man when picking from a group of candidates.

No shit, and why do you think that was exactly? Don’t know but it’s no good just saying what the problem was. It’s his job to fix it and he didn’t. Not saying he shouldn’t have stayed but you can hardly blame fans for not being arsed he’s gone

If he had stayed I would have been happy that he had the guts to stick to his convictions and see the project through. As it transpires he appears to be a gutless coward who thinks he is way better than he is.
I sincerely hope its not a case of KN not agreeing to a complete overhaul because AB or no AB it's been blatantly obvious for a long time that we have some complete cretins playing for this club and they need to be gone ASAP.

Bit of a twat move from him really as others have said. You don't come out and say everything he did if you don't intent to stick around to sort it. My thoughts exactly. What a w ⚓️ 🖕Andre

A title & promotion winning manager comes in, highlights the problems throughout the squad, tells the club and fans exactly they need to hear, then leaves because (presumably) the chairman can't/won't do what he is told is necessary. And what do some Town fans do? Rejoice. Jesus fucking wept. I don’t disagree with what you’ve said but I’d say the fact that he’d be managing, in his words, a “third tier club” whilst continuing to live away from his family also influenced his decision. I initially wanted him to stay, but listening to him recently it was pretty clear his heart wasn’t in HTAFC. His main concern was his own ego and reputation in Germany. Frankly, I consider his behaviour to be cowardly.

So we're going to be lumbered with these players for yet another season? Fucking marvellous. We are an absolute shambles. Now looking for our seventh permanent manager in less than two years. Before 2022, our shortest serving manager was John Haselden, who lasted 160 days in 1977. Since September 2022, that record has been broken four times. Danny Schofield lasted 69 days, Andre Breitenreiter has lasted 85 days, Darren Moore lasted 130 days and Mark Fotheringham lasted 133 days. You have to be a special kind of stupid to look at those numbers and not recognise that the players are at the root of our problems. A number of people have recognised that the quality in the squad has been dropping year on year since we were in the Premiership. Note that this included a team with the speed twins in so the benchmark was not that high. Dean drove us to the door of League 1 and the team that the new owner put in place made some of the poorest decisions we could have imagined and stepped straight through. All this is without any knowledge of bad eggs making the job more difficult.

Shame he’s gone because he actually had the balls to call out what a shitshow the club is. There’s more to this than meets the eye as he said. Will we ever hear more - I hope so because some of these players do not deserve to remain at the club nor get any form of support. It’s now down to Cartwright and whoever else handles transfers to get Headley, Sulky Sorba and the rest of the bad eggs and deadwood out. Burgzorg is probably still at the airport trying to dance round the baggage carousel. Tosser. Hopefully the new man is on his way. Relegation annoyed me, the Andre saga has irritated me. It’s time for this club to show some spine, remember its history and start acting in its own best interest. Get rid of these spineless twats who are more interested in Instagram and pissing about with dumb haircuts and £300 trackie bottoms. Get lads in who want to be at my/our club and to fight for us. We should be going into League One ready to steamroller it. Time to show the football world who Huddersfield Town are; not the stupid little underdog anymore, we are the Yorkshire Terriers ready to growl, bite and fight our way back. Can we all just take a minute to appreciate the burgzorg line. Nice one man, that was quality. Burst out laughing

Someone named Sean Maloney as being on a shortlist of three at the time AB was appointed. It wasn’t long ago and he’s got L1 experience after all, so…….another easy option? I don't know if it would be a good appointment, but we don't want another easy option.

Not the best trick in the book and I'm a fan of yours and a KN loyalist. The next appointment better be a good one because the fanbase will not stand for anything less than automatic promotion, new toilets or no new toilets.

I sincerely hope it's not this. Penny to a pound that's exactly what it is. You’re talking like he’s the messiah. He came in and we got markedly worse. He’s been good at some clubs and shit at other. I think we can add us to the list of others. Timing’s rubbish but other than that won’t be losing any sleep over this. Literally nobody played well or improved during his time in charge.

Well, AB obviously thought 13 games was enough to decide to quite mid contract..despite the fact he had 3 months ahead of him to rebuild his own team..the problem i guess is as you say, years of under investment has caught up with us, not helped by a scattering of poor decision making.
It's an opportunity though for someone, there's money there..we're out of the limelight and basically it's a blank canvas..

Shiten righter. Bit like post nut clarity, now he’s gone, it’s a good thing.
Let’s have someone excited to be at Town. Someone who will work the hours Carlos and Lee Clark put in and gets the supporters. Someone who needs a promotion on their CV.
