Isn't it a bit like French, where swearing is often more about sentiment than the direct literal meaning? For example merde means shit, but "emmerdè" is the equivalent of saying "f**k off". Fun fact, that's one reason the Toyota MR2 didn't sell too well in French-speaking markets! It was simply called MR in france And what did they call Coronation Street? |

I going to have to reference him as AB as there's no way I'm getting all those letters and accents correct. It's gonna take some getting used to for boxing fans since AB is a well known nickname for Adrien Broner. Never heard of her |

It was simply called MR in france True, but there was a massive drop off in sales in Canada between Ontario and Quebec. As kids we used to call them "Mister 2" anyway. Thing is, in Japanese that would be "Ni san". Wasn't going to bother continuing the off-topic language and cars discussion, but it'll be a break from all the god-awful songs. |
