The new manager appointment, Chicken and team have a rundown on the new coach’s past jobs and a 45 minute podcast. Meanwhile the Examiner doesn’t yet have a single story on the appointment.

The Club trust Steven with information and brief him before any announcement so that he can get all the facts together before the official announcement. They do a similar thing with Radio Leeds.

I too can thoroughly recommend subscribing to We Are Terriers, and look forward to the articles and podcasts arriving in my inbox at least twice a week plus player ratings and carefully thought out Five Conclusions.

I've subscribed too and also recommend it. I enjoy listening to Matt and the boys on their AHTTC pod also.

But the " invested neutral" approach and their discussions and articles on tactics insiteful and a good balance to the emotional fan base of AHTTC.

David and Steven are excellent, I’ve learned so much from listening to them. When you look at the tripe that most clubs get I think we’re so lucky to have these two and Matt, Kosi etc from the takes that chance pod too

I think that since SC has got the ratings out so quick, there's bit of a knee-jerk reaction. I'd have given 6 of the players higher scores today.

I think this is fair. But I also think the speed in which they respond is excellent and good for thought in the pub after.

Both are excellent journo’s who we should, in truth, be grateful for (having seen and heard the competition of others and at other clubs). I don’t know if you’ve read any of Dave Harticks books, but they are excellent - both are talented and are destined for bigger things and the more people that pay, the longer they potentially stay around and produce their excellent content.

I assure you I have no vested interest. I’ve never even met them.

We Are Terriers to Host Live Podcast

- We Are Terriers to host first live podcast episode at Magic Rock Taproom, Huddersfield

- The event will take place after the HTSA AGM, from 20:00 on Wednesday, 13th March
- Attendance is free for HTSA members

Town fans will get the chance to watch a live recording of a popular podcast next month.

Journalist Steven Chicken and author David Hartrick are recording a live version of We Are Terriers at Magic Rock Taproom (HD1 5EB) from 20:00 on Wednesday, 13th March.

Taking place straight after the Huddersfield Town Supporters’ Association’s (HTSA) Annual General Meeting (AGM), the special episode will cover everything from the first month of André Breitenreiter’s reign to the club’s long-term future under chairman Kevin Nagle.

The event is free to HTSA members. If you’re not already a member, you can sign-up for a year’s membership for just £1 on the association’s website (www.htsa-web.com/join), or pay £1 on the door. Podcast aficionados are under no obligation to attend the AGM beforehand.

Ahead of the event, Steven said: “We're chuffed to bits to do our first official We Are Terriers live show.

“We're really looking forward to seeing everyone down at Magic Rock at such a vital point in the season.”

A HTSA spokesperson added: “We’re delighted that Steven and David have agreed to share their considerable insights on the big stage.

“Huddersfield Town is a well supported club that deserves comprehensive coverage by the media and football professionals, so the launch of We Are Terriers is a welcome development.

“Special thanks go to club partner Magic Rock for being so accommodating, as always.”
