If it is 12000 based on renewals alone then that's cracking work by the club and kudos to the fans. 12000 x £250 = £3m 8000 x £350 = £2.8m For what it's worth, I don't think we would have reached 8k renewals of they'd hiked the price to £350. Then there's the unquantifiable effect of having a fuller stadium and better atmosphere. Good work all round 👏 And that’s on the back of a season where we’ve been relegated after playing some of the worst football we’ve played in the last 20 years. If anything, it’s a signal that the fans genuinely believe in KN’s vision for the club. Like you say, great from both the club and fan base.

I always find it interesting that we get occasional milestone sales updates during the process (although perhaps not in last couple of seasons?), and then it all goes quiet when the window hits a close.

How many Championship clubs sold out? Was it more than two? About half of our opponents sold out the away allocation & about half of those would have filled the whole of the south stand.......Some of the away followings will be sparse next season, do we want a low key opener (Exeter) or a full house one (Wrexham)? I don't think there is a bandwagon big enough for all those Wrexham fans?

Wrexham will find it tough in this division and their away support will reflect that. There are plenty of clubs that are far nearer to Wrexham than Huddersfield, Burton, Stockport, Shrewsbury, Blackpool, Wigan, Crewe, Mansfield, Bolton and then the likes of Birmingham, Rotherham and Barnsley are roughly the same distance away as us so i wouldn't say we are one of their nearest fixtures. Stockport, Shrewsbury, Wigan, Crewe and Bolton are all nearer. Burton is too but, all things being equal, would take longer to get to as it's mainly motorway to Town but A roads to Burton. Surely you should be excluding that one if it's ok to include clubs which are further away such as Rotherham and Barnsley? Blackpool is actually further as is Mansfield although Birmingham is nearer. 7 clubs closer out of 23 means it's not unreasonably to say we are one of their nearest fixtures. But that doesn't suit your narrative.

Personally, i don't give a damn about Wrexham and we will see when they start struggling just how well supported they are.

Good side are Wrexham, great support too What is so good about them look at the money they have spent on them and they weren't even the best supported club either.

I seem to recall the last time we played them there was trouble home and away. To me they are just another club who are trying to buy success they won't be the first and they won't be the last.

Just got back from the JSS after buying my new season card , I expected a big queue but there were only about 20 in the queue when I got to the kiosk .
I thought I may get pretty central in the Riverside lower, but as I needed 2 seats the central part of the riverside (Core stand) was virtually full , there were very few spare seats further to the corners.

To be fair, it's a working day, a lot of people will therefore either ring up or do it online

I've had a look online and there looks to be nearly whole sections available in every stand. Someone's pulling your plonker about not being able to get 2 seats together centrally (unless you are trying for the upper tier of the riverside).

You have to pay for travel and accommodation to Austria and you'll get a cheese sandwich and a packet of crisps?! Failure to comply results in cancellation of season ticket. 😅😊 (but yes, more sincerely I agree with your closing sentiment)

We’ve moved more central in Riverside lower, we needed 4 seats. None, which is understandable for a 4. So we got 2 seats together and 2 seats right behind. But there was very little left on the screen in the middle, 2 and half blocks on North Stand side there’s loads.

Bought the eldest her first season ticket today. Might not get used all that much this season, but the seat next to me came up after a non-renewal. Stole a match, and thought I needed to indoctrinate a 4th generation supporter. Exciting!

Got our SC's today. Currently genuinely excited.
Cue a lot of ridiculously high or doomongering low posts about our performances from me this season.

Now then Mids... can you ask Duffman this question, or does he rate this player I managed on Football Manager 1997? Does he prefer omlette or poached eggs in the morning? Other random inane questions are available.

I would have thought a meal at McDonalds would be reserved as a booby prize for those who didn’t renew.

Might be different by November if Town haven't got 70 points by then 🤔
