Would have taken that before the game. Great point. I would but it'd have been 3 points with 11 men on the field.

What a ridiculously aggressive and unnecessary post. Give your head a shake. I stand by my own I'll happily give your head a shake though It's not going against your own to not act like he didn't deserve his marching orders - he didn't jump, his elbow was higher in the air than the rest of him. Of all the refs terrible decision, that one can't be argued with, regardless of who the opponents were.

Regarding hogg Anyone try jumping for a ball with your arms at your side That refereeing performance was on a part with Jon moss,s 12 v 10 today He looked to see where the Chestie was then smacked him in the face, it had cock all to do with using his arms for leverage.

Thoroughly deserved first half lead, sending off wasnt a nasty one but when your arms high they often seem to send em off, another ref another day and he might have stayed on. Second half fantastic effort against one of the best attacking sides in the league, got to admit when they eaqualized i thought they'd overwhelm us and go on to win.

I had absolutely no faith that we would hold on. Just thought it would be a repeat of when Hull scored that late winner. Absolutely buzzing with that togetherness, performance and attitude from the team.
Bloody results elsewhere not looking good. Think there are fair few twists and turns to come!

Unfortunately I have FM in the car, so I’m currently listening to how poorly Leeds played today. I believe it’s a Leeds frequency but no mention of our 10 man for 45 mins position. Maybe, just maybe, we decided not to be overawed by your juggernaut and made sure you looked shite? Great result, deserved more than the point today. Some fecking goons on their phone in… That Irish fella, talk about deluded, apparently L**ds are on their way back to the very top of English football, what a tw@. I was glad I had to nip in to the shop after listening to him for a few mins. I can get the bias thing, but whoever thought Leeds were head & shoulders above Town today is smoking something. I’d argue that Meslier had more real saves to make than Nichols did, but don’t let that get in the way of the Leeds are invincible narrative. Leeds are another reason why the football media do my head in. Just because these are big city clubs, they put them on a pedestal. Glad we stopped them getting their ten in a row, more than deserved. Hopefully kick on now…

Just saw a clip on X and Pearson was lucky not to get a red for studs on Summerville’s calf. That's not a red. Had he lunged in it would havee been. His studs are up but he's not out of control and there's little force and therefore it should be a yellow.

We had 21% possession. Leeds must be fuming that they couldn't capitalise on that, plus playing only 10 men. Happy days...

A great battling performance with plenty of good play from us. The sending off obviously changed things and having watched it back, Hogg had to go especially given he was already on a yellow, silly boy. If we keep 11 men on the field, I would have really fancied us for the win. The ref was atrocious to the point if you told me they’d paid him off, I wouldn’t have disbelieved you. He was giving cards out to our players like confetti early doors yet nothing for theirs, always going to create a rod for your own back doing that and he rightly got dogs abuse when he came off at the end of both halves. His linesmen were pretty hopeless too. I thought the lady ref v Hull was garbage and this bloke was worse (or just crooked). Can’t ever remember their fans being as quiet as they were today, maybe a trip to Chelsea mid-week took a lot out of them too 😉, whereas ours were back to their best this afternoon. We all knew we aren’t a poor side and have enough to stay up this season although it could well go all the way but when does it not with us?

I sort of echo your sentiments but if you are going to go out to rough up their flair players with the realisation that could get you sent off then at least injure one of the twats in the process 🤣 Hogg he’s Town through and through just disappointing he had a brain fart. Thats the sort of player he is, old skool rough them up ....sometimes it works sometimes it back fires and he himself will be the first to admit his stupidity today ....remember he’s one of the good guys we need to give him some grace here . the lads have done magnificent let’s not get bogged down with a thread about an indiscretion from a Town player who has served us fantastically and epitomises the Terrier spirit didn't help their player (in fact ALL their players) went down like Mike Tyson had bopped him.. Ref carried the yellow in his hand all game rather than in his pocket, yet L666s committed more fouls... I noticed that when he booked Headley, the card was in his hand before the foul occurred

Good of them to show the Rudoni chance, from the FM phone in we were very lucky. I hope we’re playing this bunch of shites next season. Sadly all the other games are going their way, none going ours. Fecking typical.

Tell you what everyone, things have changed under Breitenreiter. We are on for a big season next year in the Championship.
Some decent additions and move on some of the deadwood, I think we could be pushing for a promotion party.

Huddersfield head coach Andre Breitenreiter:
"The boys did a fantastic job today to play over 60 minutes with a player less.
"It's very hard against Leeds with their quality. They did a really fantastic job. They showed hard work, hard fight and good discipline in defending.
"Until the 45th minute we made it hard for them, we pressed high and went into the lead with a set-piece.
"But the red card was unnecessary. It's a derby and we spoke before the game about keeping clear heads, but derbies are full of emotion.
"He (Hogg) knows about his mistake. He apologised. As a leader he's fantastic, but next time please not again.
"The players were fantastic and can be proud of their performance. We can be happy with this point and thank the players for their performance."

Just seen highlights and first time watching the Hogg red card back. Not sure how anyone can find a way to defend that, absolutely crazy, what was he thinking?!
Chuffed we managed to come away with a point, well deserved for the efforts!

As frustrated as we all are with Hogg, it is no doubt that in a lot of games we are better with him in the side. We had Leeds in our pockets until the red, allowing them to have the ball but doing f*ck all with it and Hogg was a big part of that. Unfortunately he has always been and will always be a liability in games like this but then I guess it comes with the territory of his type of player. Never understood this “always a liability” rhetoric. In over 500 games he’s been sent off 6 times only 2 of which are straight reds. I thought todays was soft but it’s the inconsistency throughout the game that makes it worse
