More of the same tomorrow please… www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/football/68418810On another note, there’s a short clip with Bamford being harassed after missing a penalty. As much as he has form for being a cheating git, that’s just overstepping the mark from any supporters… Mine were teenagers before they sat and watched the Leeds v Chelsea cup final replay. I did warn them beforehand as they had a set idea about what a 'feisty' professional game could be like. Jaws dropped and speechless pointing and looking at each other and me followed. I did tell them that Pele had the shit kicked out of him in a world cup finals and that Leeds v Derby games had some spectacular skullduggery in them. There is a common denominator in English games of the time that went off the rails🤔

Its everywhere you go m8...all the blades and Owls near me detest them just as much as We do Probably the most hated club in Britain And like Millwall they relish in it which tells you all you need to know about both clubs When they played each other in 2009, in that end of season thing that Leeds never win, it was billed as the 'no-one likes us play-off'.

No, they call us dog-botherers instead. Cuts both ways. Even though the deluded fuckwits still think Manure and the like are their rivals The whole Leeds hatred thing has no real foundation and is simply generations of small town minds following their equally small minded parents. If we are not to be lil old uddersfield for ever and a day, we have to get away from this mindset, because it makes us look small, petty and it's embarrassing. Mr Nagle hasn't helped. Does the same go for the Old Firm, Geordies and the Mackems, Utd and City, Utd and Liverpool, Liverpool and Everton ?

He'd got about 18 yellows and 5 or 6 reds (or somewhere along those lines). Nick Hancock said the actual game only had one booking "and that was for cowardice in the face of the enemy" 😁

They think that they are unbeatable now especially after spawning 3 points against Leicester I’m getting this feeling about it.Seems like they think all they have to do is turn up and that’s that. And if we have the audacity to press them that 4/5-0 is a foregone conclusion. Yes they’re a better side, yes they are flying and yes that could happen but rocking up thinking it’s a given is a bollocks. Got a feeling it could be an extra firey one Saturday tbh.

There is a common denominator in English games of the time that went off the rails🤔 The 1970 cup final was the week after Town were promoted & a year after L33ds finally won the 1st Division title (45 Years After Town), beating Chelsea would be their 1st FAC winners title but they failed & had to wait till 1972 (50 YAT)......Spent a long time in our shadow didn't they?

He wasn't happy when one reply was "like United with you then" 🤣 The result usually determines whether they care about us or not. Though to say they allegedly don't care about us, the attendance back in L1 would jump up 10k+ at their place compared to a normal game, and their fans would try to get tickets in the home end at our place

leeds always make me really chuckle ....they eradicate all of the times when they are nondescript and never pass credit to other teams for their successes ........football in their eyes was not invented pre Donald Revie even though it could be argued it was at it highest ratings with massive crowds in the 20's , early 30" , late 40"s 50, that doesn't count cause Leeds were non descriptive back then .......it was so unfortunate for the massive teams (Huddersfield Town , Preston , Blackpool , Bolton etc ) that TV wasn't around and they didn't get worldwide recognition like teams did when TV came around .....Leeds were very fortunate that their first good time in a very nondescript history came in the late 60" and seventies when TV entered the game hence their stronger recognition overseas purely based on TV coverage. Town have a history Leeds could only dream about , plus we never changed our club colours to become a tribute act.............leeds colours were always blue and gold but Revie changed it in the late 60s to copy the white of Real Madrid now how tin pot is that !!!!

Also they are in the same league as us and despite ManUre being a very small club, L666s are tiny in comparison

The difference between what we think will happen and what we'd like to happen, perhaps?
I'd like to see us beat the bastards, don't care how.
Unfortunatdly, they are playing well and delivering good results, so a loss is on the cards, sadly.

Special game this. New Managers first home game v L***s. Reduced injury list and a massive crowd. We’ve waited a while to have a great atmosphere at a game.
Can’t wait.

Any history between the managers or haven’t they managed same league / time?
Andre has a better record I guess having won a top flight title?…..

Be interesting to see what team they field tomorrow night and how Chelsea react to Sunday. Tomorrow could work in our favour, it might not. My Leeds supporting work colleague is a big concerned about Saturday, he feels it could be a potential banana skin for them.

Farke was with Borussia Mönchengladbach and AB with Hoffenheim. No ill feelings, quick google refers you to a press conference afore said match, where Farke expressed his admiration for AB. Don't think there'll be any pushing and shoving a la Wagner v Monk Edit: Gladbach won 3-1, although Hoffenheim were down to 10 men (red card) with the score still at 0-0.

It's probably fair to say Wagner won on a split decision

They have the standard number of digits on their hands & feet, they don't foam at the mouth continually like a rabid flea-bitten mongrel, and they don't chestwank whilst mumbling some shit about strutting on with their fellow twats?

Leeds play four times in the next nine days. I think they'll end up resting a number of their bigger players this evening. They've declared several injured, I assume to circumnavigate any rules about team selection for cup games.
They look set to win promotion and whatever their fans attitude is about just needing to turn up, I doubt thats shared by the players who have looked worthy winners in all their games I've seen this season. Or Daniel Farke who has done a good job when you consider they were fragmented back in August.
If we are to win on Saturday it will need to be our best performance of the season.
After Town on Saturday they've fixtures against Stoke and Millwall.
Be just our luck that they beat Town and then drop points in their next two games.

I am informed by a L££ds mate that they will definitely rest James, Summerville, Bamford, maybe more…
