A Leeds colleague said the town fans in the same stand ruined Leeds away support on Saturday booing and singing over any songs started. I nearly spat my tea all over him, absolutely priceless.

The Jimmy Saville song was coming through loud and clear on sky😁👏👏 The only good chant they did. They got scared after being booed to do their only regular chant again What did they chant, the only Jimmy Saville chanting I heard came from Town fans ?!

Coventry are the best fans I've seen at our place for years. Man United were decent as well

I agree with the second part of your statement, but Leeds is the 5th biggest city after London, Birmingham, Manchester and Liverpool. If you google populations, then it says Leeds is way bigger than Liverpool. Incorrect sir, according to Wikipedia, Liverpool population is 830,112 while Leeds is 750,700. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_primary_urban_areas_in_England_by_population

The Jimmy Saville song was coming through loud and clear on sky😁👏👏 Funnily enough, during the work at Huddersfield station last week, a load of posters from the 1980s were uncovered- some of which had a certain dead celebrity on them... Someone was sent to cover him up with gaffer tape within minutes, of course! "This is the age of the train"

Apples and pears there. You'd be comparing the Liverpool metro area with the Leeds Bradford metro area, 1.7m

One thing I was surprised to see was that Huddersfield has a higher population than Norwich, however Norwich City FC has a much bigger fanbase as there are no competing clubs for miles outside Norwich.

Also a lot harder for Norfolk people to pick a different team, as they tend to keep themselves to themselves down there... all the family trees are monkey-puzzles.

Surely Norwich (213k+) has a higher population than Huddersfield (141k+) ? Do you mean Kirklees (430k+) has a higher population than Norwich? But actually the comparable wider "Greater Norwich" (comprising Norwich 213k + South Norfolk 141k + Broadland 129k = 483k+) would have a higher population than Kirklees, and as you say, there's zero competing clubs.

Yeah but according to them, Liverpool isn't part of England so not sure you can count it.

It’s difficult in this country as loads of areas bleed straight into others and there’s about 3 or 4 different ways and different boundaries for everywhere. You’re constantly comparing apples and oranges.
