No spark, Ward ineffective without decent crosses. Looks more like Darren than Andre at the moment.

Cardiff have done a number on us so far, good shape and not giving us many options on the ball. Having to play everything in front of them, no space for us to run into.
Technique of our lads not good enough, either to play the ball through traffic or to control it and do something with it in traffic.

Ben Wiles is the only professional footballer I have ever seen track an opponent in possession of the ball, sprint from behind to in front to him, and still not put in a tackle.
We were sold a pup here I think.

We need fresh legs badly Wiles may aswell not be on the pitch Ward burgzorg look absolutely knackered How can Ward be knackered. Only played 45 mins on Saturday. Wiles didn’t play at all. Certainly need some energy out there. Koroma and Matos maybe. |

The passing is slow because the movement infront of the ball carrier is awful. No options mean we take too many touches and our play becomes slow and ponderous.
Too many players contributing nothing. Work to do for Breitenreiter.

We're playing with 10 men here. Wiles is absolutely garbage. You can make a highlight reel of him that half for the lost tackles, out paced, misplaced passes moments.
Get Wiles off. Matos on.
Ward off for Koroma and put the zorg up top.
Would bring off Pearson and put Headley on LB and spencer RB.
We can win this with the right subs.

Don’t think we’ve been awful, Cardiff just playing us well allowing us to have the ball and sitting off and we all know we aren’t good with the ball.

Wiles and Kasumu are having shockers ! Kasumu has been our best player so far IMO He has done NOTHING - hides when the centre halfs look to pas, his first touch is awful and he is too slow to tackle. |

Well, that was pretty awful.
Only Thomas had anything like a decent half.
Lees & Wiles were awful. Ward left on his own. The rest of them below average.
Worst 45 minutes since Moore left. So slow and half-arsed.
Hopefully and better second half 🤞

Ok, we won our last away game, but this season we have looked so flat away from home. Like we’ve gone back to 2013 time where we’d just roll over against any challenging opponents.

That was really really bad. I am not going to throw my teddy out of the cot, but I mean... we are out of the drop zone on goal difference, that performance with so much at stake is not acceptable. He needs to make changes. Wiles has had too many chances now for me in this team, and he shouldnt be anywhere near the starting line up. There is either an issue with him... personal/fitness/injury or he isnt even close to good enough to play at this level. There is something not right with him in my opinion since he moved to us. Its hard to criticise our forward players in some sense because they have had absolutely nothing to work with. Wiles, Rudoni, Lees and others have all been guilty of giving the ball away and killing any chance of forward momentum. Our passing hasnt been a bit off, its literally been like we have been on the booze. Get Matos, Headley and Koroma on, change how we have set up, and give it a fucking go. If we are going to lose this game tonight, at least lose it swinging.
