I don't blame referees when we fail to win matches, I think teams ought to look in the mirror rather than blaming the ref. If Hogg hadn't have done what he did, we'd have still had 11 men on the pitch and probably won the game. M I said nothing about Hogg. He deserved his sending off. But the ref set the tone for the game by booking our players for not much at all and he let their players off for equivalent infringements. Which makes the result even more impressive. Based on the comments in the thread on Saturday a lot of people would agree.If you ask most people on social media/DATM they'll blame the ref whenever we don't win a game. It's just the usual. |

Interesting thread this: I’ve not seen a second, yet the stats tell me we’re not far off. We’re unlucky and, in a tight game, probably edging it (despite the result). It doesn’t surprise me you are a sceptic: Weird innit, that the top four sides in the PL invest more than our total annual wage bill into statistics and are so very successful.
