Is he really any worse now than he was when he was called up for the World Cup? Who has appeared since to have overtaken him in preference?

He suits having the ball on the ground and will be great for holding the ball up on the occasions we have decent possession He needs to get a lot stronger before he could be considered to be a hold up man. He did well enough at it against Blackburn and Citeh. But I agree he needs to get stronger and better in the air as well. |
