Script is already written for this one, go 1 down early, throw everything at them, at least 2 penalty appeals, get one and miss late on, they go up other end 2-0, final whistle, mass meltdown How about this for a script, we go 3 up with 20mins to play we lose 4 - 3, 3 - 3 with 8 mins of injury time they score in the 9th.

Start Matos and Koroma please FFS. Matos in particular.
Poor midfield and zero threat up front was as much, if not more, to blame on Sunday as the usual scapegoats Pearson and Lees imo. They just cut through us at will second half and we had zero threat up front.
Huge game this, if we don't win and can't produce a performance in this game then I'm afraid it looks like we're down.

If we don't win this then there's something wrong.

Maxwell Spencer helik balker headley Matos kasumu Rudoni Thomas burgzog koroma
Legs plus the pace we have at our disposal.
We have experience on the bench to cover and more importantly, they can keep up the intensity it will require but for a shorter period of time.
It might well come down to workrate. If we can play up the pitch for most of it, we will win.

When you think about the run starting from Southampton to now most people would've been happy with 7 points from from 7 games and we got 10. I’d agree, the panic is all coming from league table pressure. If we can win this the table could look very different come Saturday. We came massively unstuck against WBA, but we should be able to compete, and possibly dominate, anyone in the bottom half.

There’s no way he’s not starting Hogg. I don’t agree but there’s just no way at the moment. He needs a leader on the pitch as he finds his feet as a new manager at the club. This is how I think he’ll line up:
……………..Nicholls Spencer Helik Balker Headley ………Hogg……… Kasumu ……………..Rudoni Koroma ……………………Thomas …………….Burgzorg
Doesn’t seem to want to start Matos. I could even see him starting with Lees over Balker for whatever reason. I would definitely shuffle things up a bit. Matos for Hogg. Give Bojan a go at getting his confidence up against a shit side so swap him for Burgzorg.
Anything other than a win then we absolutely deserve to go down.

Referee is a certain Mr Josh Smith from Peterborough. Had the whistle for our game at Middlesbrough back in August.
Seems fairly new on the scene, but has, of late, been given a couple of vital games in the Championship, and has had a handful of unvital Premiership games.
Conclusion: Don't want to be upsetting him too much if he's from Peterborough.
Edit: Actually started refereeing at the age of 14 in the Peterborough and District League in 2006, which is young in anybody's book!

Anyone who can’t beat Rotherham probably deserve to go down. Rotherham aren't going to lose every game between now and the end of the season so they'll be looking at a game against a side only 2 places above them as very winnable. I think we'll get a point at best and probably a defeat. Especially if he leaves Matos and Balker on the bench.

Evens to beat bottom of the league who've lost 9 in a row is an absolutely mental price considering we were only 7/4 to beat 5th placed West Brom on Sunday.

He needs to change things after the last two. I would put Matos, Balker and JK back in.
Go and be positive and win the game.
If we don't then it's difficult to see anything but League One.
Which would be a fitting end to a calamitous season on and off the pitch.

Got to start winning games , this is as good a time to start as any.
As fans we don't know if there are circumstances behind Matos not starting for example? AB has to find a way of getting results, however it comes is not important currently. Formations are a point, but how the team plays is the most important, we started the second half on Sunday standing off, we cannot stand off and try and defend, we don't have a team for this. If the team runs out of steam, which means the pressing drops off, then AB has to be brave to make subs regardless of who is tiring. The level of intesnity cannot drop offagain as badly as it did on Sunday, if it does we get punished.

We don't need to know whether Andre has sampled the delights of the town centre but would like to know why the hell our best centre midfielder isn't starting games
