The longest spell Andre has now until end of season to work with his staff and players on what we need to do to stay up.
Timing couldn’t be better IMO.
I think he said in pre match there wasn’t massive amounts to do in terms of them upping fitness, but more about mental state - does anyone know what plans they have? Wagner seemed to do some really positive team building stuff, wonder what Andre has planned?
The preparation in the next few weeks will define the season…..

Hope he can use the time for a bit of self reflection. There's plenty of time to sort things out, but he's had 5 games and actively made poor decisions in 4 of them.

Perhaps when he "reflects" he could drop this negative style of football he is now adopting away from home.

It won't make a blind bit of difference this team is getting relegated. Too many poor decisions have been made & our luck has run out I'm afraid.

Although to be fair *what if* we had 11 men on the field for the whole of the Leeds and Rotherham games…..could have been 6 instead of 2 points….. ….although the only / main worry for me yesterday was not adapting or changing enough when we went down to 10, particularly with the bench we had Couple of weeks to evaluate all of this……

I suggest the first thing we do tomorrow morning is have a look on TransferMarkt to have a look for free agent central midfielders who are capable of passing the ball to their teammates and have played at this level (or the equivalent abroad) before. Without either one or two of them, we're going to be treated to the same guff for the rest of the season.

A couple of weeks for supporters to cool off and regroup after yesterday's disappointment.
Completely understand the desire of many to start preparing our obituary, but the reality is eight games remaining with everything to play for...

Perhaps he could watch videos of the matches where Worthington was in charge.
He could also get Rudoni to look carefully at a football so he could work out what happens when you kick it somewhere near the top.
Etc etc.

It will indeed - However Rotherham (too late for them though) The Wendy’s QPR, Birmingham, Millwall, Plymouth and Stoke will no doubt saying the same things as well... Moore said the same in November and it simply didn’t work for him so it’ll be interesting to see if it does for Andre... It’ll probably be somewhere in the middle whereby some of these clubs will reset and come out of it stronger and some simply won’t... We can only hope and prey that in the case of Town that it’s the former and certainly not the latter ! 🤭

Did alright against Leeds but I really didn't think they were up to much, and we ran a bit too scared second half on Andre's instruction. The subs have been odd. Against the better judgement of all of us all season, Ward and Edwards coming on at Watford swung the game in our favour. Since then I've been really unimpressed with his in game changes. He was outfoxed by their subs against West Brom, bizarrely inactive yesterday, and none of his changes worked against Cardiff. The reluctance to use certain players is quite concerning too. Time to sort it yet though and he's not stupid, so I'm sure will come to the right conclusions. It's bloody frustrating when the amateur and fanatical observer can see plainly what works, but the professional can't

I hope he returns to the high pressing style we saw under Worthington. It is high-risk as it can expose us at the back, particularly against teams who can play through the press. It also risks burnout later in the game, which could be a problem if we don't have a result to protect.
That said, we have seen lots of styles over the past couple of seasons, but this seems to be the one that best suits this group of players. We don't have the technical quality to play through teams, and we don't have the personnel to play a typical long-ball style.
Winning the ball high up the pitch and springing attacks from moves that involve 1, 2 or 3 quick passes seems our best route to a goal. As well as winning free kicks and corners from which Pearson and Helik can provide a threat
This style doesn't guarantee results, but I would suggest it's our best chance of getting the wins we need to stay up. If we are to go down, let's go down fighting not wondering about "what ifs".

Just hope Matos can do anything possible to get back in the good books before the restart.
For me he’s the biggest selection mystery of the last couple of games.

All Matos and Koroma have to say to AB is we promise not to attack and score goals, they will be backin the team straight away! Yesterday was disgusting in terms of tactics etc and I’m hopeful KN will send me a email offering me my money back

But then you’ve got to wonder why we didn’t get this right yesterday…..suppose only major thing missing was strikers (!!!) but we still didn’t seem to get loads of decent shooting chances….

They will be put through the paces with barely any time off, unlike when Warnock promised the players a week off if they won the game either side of the international break......They say dangling the carrot doesn't always work, two out of two for NWMM & 12 points.
