I always liked Dennis Clarke. Good, consistent defender. Question for him - what was his memory of playing in the League Cup Final for WBA not long before he joined Town, and did he have any influence on Dick Krzywicki coming to Town from WBA? Says he was at Leeds Road one day and Greavsie said, "there's someone in there you might want to speak to", so he goes in the office and Dick Krzywicki is sat there. Dennis had no idea he was signing. Dick told him that he'd only signed because Dennis was already at Town! That’s an interesting one. A bloke who drinks in my local pub lives next door to Dick Kryzwicki and he’s promised to bring him with him one evening.

Remember playing against him when he was playing for Flockton..The game was at Flockton with their usual bunch of vitriolic spectators who weren't averse to sticking a leg out when you were running down the touchline.... Bit of course the main memories of him playing for Town.. So my question for him, why did he choose to play for Flockton cloggers ?

Clarke played in the very last game that Best, Law and Charlton all scored for ManUre. Was this discussed at all?
