Good riddance the cheat. "Pursuing other opportunities" Howard Webb to take over. Probably made enough with the bung from the playoff final.

Good riddance the cheat. "Pursuing other opportunities" Howard Webb to take over. I wouldn't be categorical that he was a cheat. Overweight and a breathtakingly poor choice for that game (especially given his announced PGMOL role) certainly.... ...but without a full detailed review I can't be certain he was a cheat (it might just be complete & utter incompetence)..... ....HOWEVER if he and Tierney weren't to be investigated (the issues seemed so obvious) then it suggests NO-ONE will ever be investigated... ....and I find it impossible to avoid the conclusion that without full scrutiny, one day there will be a major scandal in football (cycling and athletics have demonstrated that).

Mike Dean admitted he regularly cheated and ignored the rules to protect his friends refereeing from having extra pressure on the pitch, and nothing happened 🤷♂️ Punishment is to be stood down for a week, but no review if you ask for next week off.

I’m in your gang. Too much money flying around in football nowadays for it to avoid corruption at the PL level. The powers that be will tread a fine line until someone decides to grow a conscience…

Sounds like a lawyer wrote that! Surely someone who has reached the peak of their profession yet performs in such an incredibly incompetent way which entirely favours one team over another can reasonably be assumed to be cheating...allegedly.

He has probably been ‘got at’ already up here - He probably scratched the surface under the corrupt and dishonest bonnet and didn’t like what he seen and has legged it in double quick time back o’er the border an’ awa’ as some would say up here...
His fellow Yorkshire man Stewart Regan said on fleeing as well...
“Scotland is one ‘peculiar’ football country -
He didn’t get much right in his tenure as CEO of The SFA but he was certainly bang on with that ascertation for sure !
