I agree with the 4-4-2 chat. Healey and Radulovic up top. Bojan holds it up well and his link up play is actually quite good to watch! Use him nodding and flicking it on to Healey and whoever’s out wide (I fucking can’t stand Burgzorg but I’d actually start him today because as frustrating as he is, he’s bound to score a wanky fluke goal today).
Don’t think he’d ever play a 4-4-2, but here’s my line-up anyway:
——————— Nichols Spencer - Pearson - Helik - Headley Burgzorg - Wiles - Matos - Thomas ————- Healey - Radulovic

Oh great. That draw away at Rotherham summed up our season. Simply not good enough. you mean that game our manager thought their was no point in going for the win? 😧 I’m not even nervous about today as I accepted relegation a few weeks back now when we couldn’t even force a serious shot on goal against the worst team In the division , if we stay up history tells me we’ll just be here again next season anyway, I’m more nervous about the lot in the board rooms next move. Transparency we were promised. Whatever, we think it’s the quality in the squad that is the real problem. All the managers have struggled. I will never understand the decision to re-appoint Warnock. Don’t deliver for him in the transfer window then sack him. Why ? Some will say you didn’t want him Dunc. They would be right, but why did they do it ?

Point not good enough today
Very winnable game and any less than 3 points and it’s all over for me

Plenty of room in the South Stand this aft, Millwall have sold 568 tickets (no POD offered).....Up to our lads in SS to make some noise & ones on the pitch to keep 568 quiet.

Are we allowed to call it a must win yet? Think you could be forgiven for doing so now....!!! There are plenty on here that wouldn’t admit it was a must win game until the last game of the season when we were 3 points adrift with a goal swing of 23 required 🤣 It’s like comical Ali. “We are completely in control of the situation and have the infidels running scared”!!! 🤣

I’ve just made up Matchday Chart No.41 for the pub tomorrow... (It’s something that I do in April onwards save for being on the beech at this time which simply doesn’t happen to Town very often at this stage in The Championship)... And - The noose is tightening in and big time - A lot of irrelevant games from a Town point of view tomorrow but the Matchday ain’t off to a good start at all... Can Southampton win away at Blackburn - Who knows but I wouldn’t be that confident - Can Leicester do us a big turn at home to Birmingham City - I’d like to think yes to that one... I think QPR are definitely far enough away from us now and therefore I’ll be rooting for them at home to The Wendy’s - WBA away to Stoke - Difficult to predict this one again, Stoke could Jam a draw which wouldn’t be exactly great but one can only prey for West Bromwich Albion (Sorry Chadders51 but desperate times mean desperate measures) ! 😉 And so to ourselves then - Well Millwall will be really smarting about last week at Rotherham although tonight I think we are all mightily pleased that The Miller’s kept them in the mix for sure (And commiserations to them tonight ) so they will definitely be up for writing last weeks wrong and we will need to be at it from the off to counteract this mindset that they will inevitably rock up with... I think that we really need to win as a draw is almost the equivalent of a defeat in our precarious situation that we are in... Will we pull off a much needed win - I really don’t have a scooby doo clue - But I’ll sleep on it tonight and see what the head and the heart thinks tomorrow and then give ma prediction (I did get it bang on last week with Stoke 1 Town 1) ! Before Plymouth played, I thought the same thing, but now they've won, I think we should be wanting a Wednesday win today. We need to keep as many teams as possible in the pack but a QPR win puts them on 49 and virtually safe. They're at Plymouth Tuesday and we need them going into that game fighting like mad. They've also got quite a tough run in. Of course a Wednesday win puts them on 42 and potentially above us if Town don't win, but if that happens it doesn't really matter anyway. If we go down, we go down - 2nd or 3rd bottom it's all the same.

Even dreaming about 2 in a game is more out there than gravity being suspended or lightning coming out of fingers.

If they want us to cheer passes going astray, failure to win 2nd balls, sideways football in our own half, half hearted challenges, failure to track back, few if any attempts on goal....come on everybody ...we can do this!

Not a game to be managing minutes in The must win nonsense has always riled me. I never played a proper football match that wasnt a must win game for me. Even if you rest a load those coming in have to be desperate to win. Never had a job where losing was an option.

This is about as must win a game can be without mathematically being a must win game. Realistically if we don't win today, we're playing League One football next season. And probably a few seasons after that too. And even if we do win, we'll probably have to win a couple more, which may be beyond them. I've really got doubts we're going to get out of this. I was initially impressed with Andre but have been less so as the matches have gone by, and the points dropped. The damage was already done though, he just hasn't had the ability or the players to pull us out. Completely wrong time for a manager like him. Dare I say it (and I didn't think it at the time) but I think Worthy would have had us on 44+ points now. If we do go down, I'd be confident if AB stayed, had a chance of getting his own players in etc. We just didn't need a manager who was brand new to English football, coming into a championship relegation battle and making the same shit mistakes we've seen time and time again from other foreign managers. We don't have the time for it. don't let htafcokay see this post

That was 100 per cent the case in the Premier League. To this day i don’t understand what happened with Lossl’s contract and how he ended up earning 52k a week at Everton. We took over his Mainz contract, which had a year to run. He didn’t sign a new deal, which led to him leaving on a free. No relegation clause there. Nor with others, it has to be said - mostly end of contract. So we paid a fee in the millions for a player to sign a one year contract? I know he was here 2 but the first was loan. Seems bizarre. Some shady stuff went on in those 2 years in the Premier League. Like the lie that Mbenza was an “option” to buy after his “loan”

I think that we can win today as anything else is simply unthinkable...
We certainly ain’t gonna draw our way outta this as sure as night follows day one or more of the ‘others’ around us will be picking up points and one at least will muster up a win over a far superior team something André has only achieved v Watford...
So it’s probably win or bust and bust is our Championship Status gone tits up pardon the pun 😬 ☹️
Perhaps it’s the first can of Tennents Lager n’ Lime and the first double plus whisky that I’ve just consumed right now (refills poured to boot as well) that’s doin the talking for me here but I think we have to win and will win ! 😊
PREDICTION = Huddersfield Town 2 v Millwall 1 👍
