I defo agree with the posters who have suggested that losing is so ingrained in this group that they can’t shake it. It’s a terrible thing to say but they are just so used to losing all the time.
Would be nice to have a fresh start but of course it’s not like that with contracts.
Was one of the reasons why 2003/2004 was so enjoyable to see an almost new squad giving it everything after such a poor depressing season before.
You can genuinely imagine one or two of these players who have been so poor shushing the crowd or holding the ear to Kilner bank after scoring against Wycombe…
need a clean break with quite a few of them.
