I don’t want to go over the top here, but that header is everything we want from a town player, he could have had a head to head clash or got kicked in the head but he’s chucked his head in to win 3 points. Yes it’s what he’s paid to do but well done for showing that desire for your club Rhys!

Natural goalscorer, that’s what they do. Shame it’s about 5 and a half years too late

Pray that we see a fully fit Rhys Healey leading the line for us in the championship next season. We may stand half a chance.

The kind of goal Rhodes would have scored, a natural instinct of where to be?

If we do stay up, I think it will be a massive risk not signing another striker and hoping on the fitness of Healy and the adaptation/fitness of Radulovic. Maybe a PL loan would make sense.

The kind of goal Rhodes would have scored, a natural instinct of where to be? Yep. Also bough Rhodes would have been booed off the pitch after an hour shaving touched the ball 6 times and failed to lead the line effectively for 40 matches.

How many goals has Jordan scored since we decided not to recall him?

How many goals has Jordan scored since we decided not to recall him? He's injured and back at Town. Only played a couple games since Jan.

I think he head butted the roof of the south stand or was that just the roar from the fans! Akin to the ince Watford goal.

Surely if he's going to be responsible for championship survival with his goals he needs his own song.
Appreciate it's a well used song but the stadium played it at the end of Saturday's match.
Freed from desire by Gala. A starter "Rhys Healey on fire".

Healey's on fire - think he had that song whilst in France.
He also nearly had a second goal on Saturday when he threw himself at a diving header which he didn't quite get enough on, and it went wide to the right. Great effort to get there though.

The one in our pub on Saturday night was to Lionel Richie
"What a feeling, When we're watching Rhys Healey!"

It's apparent that he is the goal scorer we have been craving.
Today he showed that not only can he finish but he can dribble with the ball too which is something we have been lacking.
He will be huge for us next year

Criminally unfit. Stood with hands on hips blowing like he'd just run a marathon after 25 minutes. Got ribbed in the match thread for pointing it out at half time but funnily enough AB said the exact same thing in his post match interview.
Ignoring how unfit he is, he actually looks like a tidy player. Will definitely be a handful for league one defences as will Radulovic if he can get properly fit.
As daft as it seems when they've all had poor seasons for various reasons but most league one sides would dream of having a fit Ward, Healey and Radulovic to pick from. I'm not sure whether we can afford to have all three though given the wages they're picking up so assuming atleast one will be sold

Played the equivalent of just over 7 games for us and Watford this season, scored 5 goals with 1 assist.
A fit and firing Healey would be a real asset in league 1. Think he may get offers from elsewhere though.

Seriously. I haven't seen any. We do have plenty of evidence for Ward. As was pointed out in an earlier post his career stats are bloody awful. Additionally he's scored in ONE match the whole of this season and scored a mighty five goals the whole of last season . Apparently he played yesterday but that might be a rumour. He has stolen a living - a massive one apparently - for a long long time, and I think we know how he got his latest contract Goodness me.

If we’re serious about bouncing straight back up, he has to stay. Other clubs that have dropped to league one have kept some of their better players.

They are under contract to us so we don’t have to part with them. Who goes is down to us. Healey seems to me like a player who really wants to be a success and he has a good chance here of getting fit and being a first choice striker. Given the struggles he has had I don’t see why he would want to pass that opportunity up.

Yeah and that’s my point, the club need to be sitting our better players down and telling them they are staying as we aim to bounce back immediately and return in a much better position, show them we’re serious. A season at a lower level might be what a few of them need! Like you say Healey might find the prospect of being 1st choice striker with potential of bagging 15-20 goals more appealing than being a bit part player in the championship again!
