Think Hoyle used to have it written into contracts that wages went down in L1. Believe he used that to motivate them. Who knows if the current regime carried that on. It's standard in most players contracts that any relegation sees a 10% minimum wage reduction. Most the team haven't had any new deals under the new regime either. Only Hudlin and Harratt, I think? |

Randomly I think 2 players who could be great for us in league 1 are Pearson and Lees. No frills in a no frills division.

Until we can get a midfielder who can control the game like Robbie Brady did last night for Preston, there is some dark days ahead.
Kasumu has one foot and looks terrible.
Hogg now on the decline
Matos going back to Chelsea
Wiles looks lost
Rudoni never looked like the player we were told we were getting.
Some big decisions to made in the summer around the midfield. Healey looks like he knows where net is and Bojan should never have been signed, since he last played league football in October. Maybe a pre season could change my opinion on him.
