Is this a must win game or are we having the weekly argument about it being must not lose?

Not sure that’s mathematically correct!

Players and manager really need to step up. Must win.
No results are going to go in our favour anymore. Every match is a cup final.
Crunch end of the season. What are this squad made of?
Simple 4-4-2. Man marking do your jobs otherwise we are getting relegated.

Can’t afford to go gung ho tomorrow against a team like Swansea who thrive on that . We need to be disciplined and tight at the pack , aiming to hit from counters and set pieces . Hopefully last week will have motivated the lads even more and can shift us out of the bottom three . We’re all looking at Birmingham but if Plymouth get their revenge on Schumacher and QPR don’t pick anything up it could be very interesting next weekend . Keep the faith lads - 2-0 Town (Pearson and Healey (pen!!!)) My starting 11 would be Nicholls Pearson Helik lees Spencer Matos Kasumu Rudoni Thomas Burgzorg Koroma I agree except we have to play a striker. Burzorg out wide instead of Koroma then one of our strikers up front.

Is this a must win game or are we having the weekly argument about it being must not lose? Like every week it depends on other clubs results as to our league position and how much of a pickle we're in.

Anyone else cringe at how many players they held at gun point to call for fans to pack the stadium out tomorrow? Asking the fans to turn up after some of the performances this season is comedy in itself if you ask me, we need them to turn up for a change…same goes for the manager…I’ll be there though and I’ll be there next season like the rest of you mugs 😂

The cringe thing is the amount of times, that the players are telling us in every interview we are "together" as a squad. Its about time you played like you are, sometimes we play like, either the players have never met or don't like each other . At the moment the idea that the club needs to be together, is a bit strange the fanbase is together "WE DO NOT WANT TO GO DOWN" its time the players showed that they are "together" instead of seemingly being indviduals.

Fans react to what’s happening in the pitch, we obviously will be there but as above post states if we see the effort and actual togetherness to get out of this then it effing helps! I’ve watched Town in lower and higher leagues and will always, just wanna see a full on effort to survive. Are we good enough? We will see…

I hear what your saying but 2 in 2 is hardly a rich vein of goal scoring form. If we play 3 up front, 1 has to be a striker. Burzorg is not a striker, finds himself offside too much. Just feel Burzorg is more of a threat from out wide than Koroma. Hard call but Burzorg before Koroma for me.

basically our last real chance tomorrow...anything but a win and it leaves us needing points from Ipswich..yes there are fabulous permutations but Brum will win, so will Stoke..then QPR and Wednesday will know what to do when they play their games after ..
A draw won't do...a defeat unthinkable...even a win would only be part of the job done...
is it wine o'clock yet ?

2-0 town. Rotherham beat Birmingham and Blackburn beat Wednesday. Light work.

Well... this is getting quite exiting isn't it? Can't believe we got to page 4 and someone posted that this was a must win game. I was busy this week so didn't get my "must win game" post, on page 1.

I hope the players aren’t as nervous as me for this one. they have not being "nervous" all season. I wish they had shown some "nervousness" at times, as it would have showed they cared. The lack of care in many of our games this season has shocked me.

Sorry but it’s not a “must win” However the team is dining at the “last chance saloon”.. I find that a more comforting cliche.. 🍻🍻

I hope the players aren’t as nervous as me for this one. To be nervous they would have to be emotionally invested in the outcome and what it means to the club; I'm not sure many of this squad think any further than the next pay packet whoever that's playing for.

Think I said its a 'must try as much as possible' to win game, which sounds odd given all 46 should be but with Town this season its often very far from obvious🤔

Nicholls Pearson Lees Helik Spencer Kasumu Rudoni Matos Sorba Healey Koroma You want to hamstring us already by playing Pearson at right back? Not being able to pass a football is one of the main reasons we are where we are. Let’s not occupy a position where passing is a key requirement by someone with a forward pass completion probably lower than 30%.

Is it must win? Depends what Birmingham and Sheffield W do. We have to at least match both of those teams in my opinion this week and then beat Birmingham to go into the last day of the season with a chance of staying up. Personally I believe we do need to win our next two or we will be relegated.
