They know what they have to do now in the next two games and even that might not be enough. Some clarity at least.
If we don't win I guess it's over barring miracles.
Looking at the top of the championship I can't see Ipswich having nothing to play for on the final day.

A week ago Millwall fans having watched their team lose back to back over five days to mighty Town & Rotherham with 11 wins between them must have feared the worst with Leicester & Cardiff at home to follow......We have to match what the Lions have done to reach 50 points & possible safety, its up to US!!

from the last 3 games, if you'd told me we'd beat Millwall , lose at Preston and get a draw at Bristol . id have thought that was ok from those 3 fixtures. And it would be but the results our rivals are pulling out of the bag means it's not really enough.
I think we NEED to win these next 2 games..puts us on 50 points and that 'should' be enough. If we dont win one of them then I think our chips are up. And even 50 points might not do it this season the way results are going. We might still need to get something at Ipswich. Remember Peterborough went down with 53 whilst we were arseing about against Barnsley that day.

Definitely a must win game lose or draw history might repeat itself and Birmingham send us down. Could not live with that.

I’m slightly concerned that we will go behind and the players will fall apart.
It would be typical Town to lose, results go our way and still end up dropping into League One.
Swansea aren’t exactly on fire so it’s time for Andre to drop Burgzorg, set up a 4-4-2 and attack from the get go. Let’s apply some pressure on the other teams rather than the other way around.
You can have all the ticket deals in the world for Birmingham but the best way to get the full house rocking is to win on Sat. Anything less and the Birmingham game has a draw or defeat all over it. Then being mauled at Ipswich.

I honesty don't think 50 will be enough this time, we're relying on others to mess up now, realistically it's 2 places between us, Wednesday, Birmingham, QPR and Stoke, you might chuck Plymouth in there too but to be sure we probably need to win all 3. The Ipswich fixture is a big big issue for me.

Bristol were on a run and were scoring plenty without conceeding. They were not playing for much other than being in great form to see out the season. Swansea are not on a great run or playing well and after winning by an own goal are as near as damm it safe. Its simply up to us. They may want to play, they may want to fight hard, its up to us to test that fully. Its then a matter of results of those around us to see what the landscape is with 2 games to go but a home win against Brum already looks a must whatever occurs this Saturday. With our goal difference 3 draws looks like relegation so the aim is pretty obvious.

Need every player to be playing for the badge.
We’ve had some shit players over the years, Theo Robinson, Alan Lee, Quarner, Hefele to mention a few, but town fans loved them because they played their hearts out!
Anyone that isn’t showing hunger in the first half comes off at half time.

Two wins will more than seal it, would have been stunning to bag three at weekend but win / draw or draw / win next two will be enough to not need result against Tractor boys

It’s a must-win. We also have to beat Birmingham after that. We haven’t won back-to-back games all season, and this has to be when we change it.
Beat Swansea and we have more than half-a-chance. Don’t win and results go for us, and we’re still in the fight. Lose and results against us and that’s that, barring a two-match miracle.

I follow the odds (granted that wouldn’t have been great in the championship this weekend!) and Town are significant favourites in this one. We’ll be favourites to beat Birmingham too.
This is somehow very much still on. Even if Birmingham beat Rotherham as expected, a win for us brings one other team at least back in to the fight seeing as Stoke and Plymouth are playing each other.

Have you seen the state of Rotherham's form...it would be a miracle if Birmingham don't beat them 😟 I think we have to pray that Hull perform over next couple of games and it transpires that Norwich need an actual result on the last day. www.soccerbase.com/teams/team.sd?team_id=2180&season_id=156&teamTabs=results

Feels like we haven't, but under Neil Warnock we achieved it with wins against WBA & Rotherham back in September......Jon Worthington also had back to back home wins v Wendies & Sunderland.

Based on the weekends results where I thought Bristol would do a number on us, and that Coventry, Leeds and Leicester would beat the teams around us...
Turns out whoever I pick generally loses. Based on that logic, I'm picking a Swansea win.....
(I actually think we will get 3 points)

MUST WIN!!!! and if Birmingham would somehow managed only a draw at Rotherham (i know, who’d be that shit?) that would set up an absolute stonker the week after.

The crumb of comfort is that our fate is still in our own hands. If we can win these next 2 home games then we will definitely go to Ipswich out of the drop zone regardless of what anyone else does.
Its a shame Ipswich have stumbled recently or they could well have had the title wrapped up by the time we go there and be firmly encamped on party beach central. Or its a shame Leeds and Leicester have both stumbled or Ipswich could have been guaranteed 3rd and probably rest a few players for our visit before their play offs.
As it is, because its us and its this season, that isnt going to work out for us and no doubt Ipswich will need to win that game.
