I trust Nagle 100%. We all need to.
He does care about the club you can tell having met him. He’s 10 years deep with Sacramento. He is an astute billionaire and a born winner. He’ll be determined to sort this mess out.
I do think he has under-estimated English football though and has been poorly advised. Very poorly advised. Picking the phone back up to Dave Baldwin may be on his agenda for some guidance.
He will get it right, he will make wholesale changes and I wouldn’t bet against him making them changes this coming week with announcements following the massacre at Ipswich.
Jake Edwards. He has let Kev down. He has made massive mistakes being jointly responsible in the Warnock and Moore terminations/appointments. I don’t think the CEO is the problem though at Town. Edwards seems one of the good guys in my book and needs to remain in his position and steer this great ship back.
Mark Cartwright. The guy is a fraud. I spoke with him in the hospitality entrance away at Rotherham and you could tell it was just another payday for him. He wasn’t bothered. He needs to be the first to go. Our recruitment has been farcical for a few seasons now which is the biggest reason for our downfall. However this fraud makes Leigh Bromby look like Stuart Webber.
Andre. I like the guy. I hope he stays and builds something special but I don’t see it happening. The players he has inherited are awful. The decision making though has not been great. The gung-ho approach changes at Preston were scary and to not play Healey and/or Ward from the start today was blatantly wrong. I would have expected an experienced manager like him to have got more decisions right than he has got wrong. We cannot keep going through managers though. The problem is both above (Cartwright) and the below with the squad.
The ‘team’. The lack of quality has been evident for a couple of years now. We should of gone down last season but Warnock pulled off a miracle. The squad are a million miles off the pace. We’ve had a couple of highs with Moore at Christmas and Worthy when he stepped in. But no manager has got a consistent tune out of a town team over half a season since Carlos.
I have never felt as despondent as a town in over thirty years. I love this club but I hate walking out of the ground with my kids looking at me and thinking “why has he brought me here again”.
But we’re Town fans. We’re hurting tonight and it’s going to hurt next Saturday. I wasn’t going to go and watch a replay of Brum sending us down because the last one still lingers. But I am.
Fast forward a couple of months and most of us will be slating the new away kit and getting excited over new signings
But this summer we might be hiding the Town towels from our sun loungers.

UTT Trust Nagle? Na you’re alright, everything he’s done this season has been bad. Apart from talk a great game he’s done nothing to suggest we should trust him.

I said to my mate on my way out of the game that we might be in our 70's before we see Championship football again. He's 63 and I'm 62, I wouldn't be surprised.

Town would be better off ditching the Cartwright role (is it really needed at league one level) and appointing a manager who knows what players it takes to get you out of that division and go and get them
Rotherham have done exactly that with Steve Evans. Yes he's fat and a bit weird but he will make some astute signings and likely bring them back up at the first attempt

I think Mr Nagle is a smashing chap but it could be a very long road back you only have to look at other clubs who have been in our position. I am astounded, no one yet has blamed DH and i saw the great man after the game.

I am completely ashamed to be associated with this fucking pathetic excuse for a football club. Spineless, unprofessional, disorganised, cheap, dumb - you run out of words for the club. Absolute fucking morons the lot of them.
