People will argue that pace isn't really important in a league one centre half but having Pearson, Lees and Batth all on the books is taking it a bit extreme. Very wishful thinking that we would line up with Helik and Balker. The Batth news pretty much confirms it ain't happening Desperately need pace back there. Lees and Pearson are good defenders, but can’t line up together and defend on the halfway line. |

There’s some melt on Twitter saying he saw him at training ground. Looked at his account and the poster has 2/3 posts in total over a year period all of which involved alleged bollocks sightings.
Said he saw Devante Cole with Darren Moore at Meadowhall in January and Mark Cartwright with Mark Hughes in Feb. Just what we used to term a WUM. So “heard he was seen at training ground” is a little (lot) disingenuous

We should be moving heaven and earth to start the season with Balker and Helik at the heart of our defence. 100% this - would very much hope they buy into the medium and longer term Town vision and stay! I would also add that these players knew the situation when they signed and have played a part in the relegation whether that be through getting injured all the time, not getting fit quick enough or not playing too great. |

He's made 14 appearances against us and picked up more bookings against us than any other team (5) never been sent for an early Batth playing us though.
