He doesn't do it enough, plus hsi attiude is a huge issue. it’s a sign of how towns been run the last few years. I was not a fan of his at all yet we’ve not had a technical midfielder better since. Still don’t think players like him are worth it due to attitude, need good people around-then you can allow for a few mavericks. The term "maverick" does not mean a complete and utter attiude tool, you can be a "maverick" without the attiude. Van la parra was a "maverick" type of player , yet always worked for the team and didn't cause issues behind the scenes. We have had a very talented footballer in Mooy for example, who wasn't a complete tool , it is possible to find good players, without the attiude issues. In our past league 1 days, Pilks and Robbo were talented players for the league, yet were good guys . Cartwright this summer, has to do exactly what he said he was going to do, which was keep the bad players/ attiudes out of the club. |

Yep completely agree. I love a Burgzorg/Van La Parra player. Mate I haven’t watched league one since we were there last. Just going off stats. Being released by Wigan should tell you enough. I'm not sure that's true. The club are a basket case & may need to release players to keep the wolf from the door. (Note - I'm not saying anything about the individual player - I know nowt about him) |

Bosun Lawal on loan from Celtic would be decent. Nominally a CB but can also play CDM. Just been on loan at Fleetwood.
Truthfully he'll probably go on loan to the Championship or equivalent next season but if you don;t ask, you don't get.
