since Nike bought Umbro imo they’ve downgraded the quality and design to make Nike apparel appear better we’ll never see proper Umbro gear again British and best unless Nike sell on happy to stick with Umbro tho can’t be doing with Adidas personally something akin to the 1970 championship kit for me please Kev thinner stripe and darker blue red badge with only Huddersfield Ben the original yorkie on would love to see that Nike sold Umbro in 2012 (after they got hold of the England umbro contract): en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Umbro#:~:text=In%20October%202012%2C%20Nike%20announced,the%202014%E2%80%9315%20football%20season. Also, Bournemouth's kits are made by umbro and they still have umbro next seaon (not Castore).

Hummel would be a good change. Nothing against Umbro at all though. However, please, please, please can we have red and black stripes for the away kit and not some vomit colour? i liked the red yellow striped "keep it up strip" too

I'd love to see town wear Nike or Adidas for a season. That's who make the kits for the top teams.
Does anyone remember Pony or Joe Bloggs, crikey.

They've decided to stick a Castore badge on all the Burnley gear next year.

We would probably sell a hell of a lot more merchandise. Appeals to the kids.

No problem with Umbro at all, I really liked this seasons home kit (although I'd have preferred black numbering/lettering).
I wouldn't be against Nike or (preferably) Adidas, but if we are to change, I think I'd like Hummel, New Balance, or even reverting back to Puma.

The manufacturer of football shirts is quite interesting.
The big clubs who have the likes of adidas, puma etc actually have their kit made by adidas.
They can however allow other parties to manufacture kits and just stick their label on it. They tend to be a bit shit.

Biggest problem with Umbro for me is their dreadful training range. That is just bog standard template stuff. Exactly same thing year after year in a different base colour and that’s it. Club has to be missing out on sales here with such a bland offering.

Pretty sure I saw on X that someone ordered a Town training top for their son and when it arrived it had the Burnley badge on it.

Awful quality, literally like something you'd pick up from a market stall. Zip, cuffs, fit, cut, all cheap crap. Hummel would be good, Adidas would be great providing it wasn't a template and the training stuff was decent. Always liked the Adidas Newcastle kit from the era when Keegan managed them. Simple, classic design , stripes looked great.

Agree with others re the template training gear - nothing available that feels unique to your club.

Joma seem to have the monopoly on Grassroots football. Their kits are everywhere and generally are decent quality.
Their clothing with zips however are shocking. They don't do what they were designed to do, with failing zippers....

And look how much better the badge looks without the shield (most important part of the kit)….doubt they’ll change it though will they as it cheaper to manufacture with the shield no doubt…)

I’m in the ‘Red and black stripes for away top’ camp… The Mitre one the following year was an exact copy as far as i can recall. And we had the 'third strip' Millenium navy blue which for me is the best Town change kit ever.
