Just a bit of feedback from some of the comments
1, PA Announcer. Please give him a bit of time - he has lots of personality and it will come through. He was a bit nervous on Sat - but we wanted to keep things simple to iron out some of the glitches. Weds will be another test so lets see how it goes.
There will however be a stand in on the Stockport and Bradford games
2, Nets - new ones due for Stockport game - blue and white stripes. Centenary corner flags too.
3, Germany - like the idea - but tends to be the Manager who dictates where we go.
Cheers
Sean

I like the idea of the nets having the stripes on it...good work!
Was weird stepping out into the ground and seeing the 'old' style goalposts!

smj any chance we can get the time moved on the scoreboard to the bottom. I sit to the top of the antich and can't see a thing re the match clock. This was a common theme for alot of folk around me. As has been said many times ur doing a fantastic job, keep up the good work.

Yep - had a couple of comments on that. I understand that is was programmed that way - but I think our techie bods are looking to change it

Sean, will there be replays on the screen or is it not allowed? Also, as a number of people have pointed out, showing the game live on the screen is more of a distraction than anything and is pretty pointless. Would be better to just have the team lists up with yellow cards etc next to their names than showing us a game we are already watching

Yes, (guilty of an early judgement) However, I was quite surprised that the previous announcer had departed - I am an occasional contributer to this board but I gather he was not well liked by some of my fellow Town afficianadoes (I have no idea why that should be..) As for the new man - 2 points: 1) An intensive course in the i/d of our players (and former "legends") is required - no doubt many on here will be willing to oblige??? 2) A rapid conversion to a Yorkshire accent also need tha' knows lad - get him up to Slawit for a couple of days. Good luck for the season & thanks for working overtime on behalf of the Club.

Sean, how about you and Dean Hoyle do a lap around the park before the Stockport game next Saturday, I would love it for Hoyle to be introduced to the crowd as he hasn't been yet, it'd be a real atmosphere booster and it's something you deserve yourself for all you hard work and efforts, I don't think I've felt so excited and proud to support Town as I did after watching that film on the big screen.
Ohh how about for the Bradford game we have clips of previous derby games between us and the Bantams!

Let the players do the talking on the pitch and we'd be setting ourselves up for a fall if we do that before a game!
