You know you love a poll......  So how will the new boss do compared to the others A.H.?? (After Hoyle...or the 'modern era' as I think of it......) Will he get to the dizzy heights of Grayson or be a massive flop like Jan and Scoffa?..... Surely he will beat Moore's record? Can he do better than the legend Wagner?..... For reference..... If we start with Stockport away (like Plymouth promoted title winners) & Birmingham at home (like Leicester title favourites) do you think we will be better equipped to get points on the board this time? I thought on another day we could have ended up with 4 points instead of zilch.............Every manager will be hoping for a good start & the luck of the draw could decide how good, a lot will want to avoid Town early doors. |

I thought on another day we could have ended up with 4 points instead of zilch.............Every manager will be hoping for a good start & the luck of the draw could decide how good, a lot will want to avoid Town early doors. I would imagine the vast majority will want to avoid Town early doors!! i would think that most would like to play Town as early doors as possible before we have had any chance of getting a new squad together. Most seem to think that we will have a bunch of new players to integrate in to a new playing system. |

I would imagine the vast majority will want to avoid Town early doors!! i would think that most would like to play Town as early doors as possible before we have had any chance of getting a new squad together. Most seem to think that we will have a bunch of new players to integrate in to a new playing system. In fairness, that's because we will! And why I'll reiterate what I've said on about a dozen threads already: I expect us to build a team with the aim of winning the division at the first time of asking; that's an expectation on the club, who I expect to take the division deadly seriously. It is tough, it can chew up and spit out teams that aren't prepared and who don't take other sides in the division seriously. Once the team is assembled, we'll be in a better position to know what we should expect from that team. |

It all depends on the recruitment Runner 76 , but I am
of a positive mind set that we are going to do quite well.
Its just a gut feeling of course, no one really knows,
however I was convinced we were going to get relegated last

Just got back from working in South Wales "Port Talbot" and the Swansea fans i spoke to were not very impressed by him at all. Atrocious, Clueless, and worse were some of the terms to describe him and apparently Swansea had initially suffered the club's longest winless start to a league campaign in 32 years under him. Maybe i should have stopped off in Cheltenham on the way home to see what their fans think of him.

We won eight and drew one of the last nine games of the season, a run of five victories, the draw, and then another three victories. We missed out on the play-offs by a single point. 2004-05 season. |
