Outside the top two divisions only one team has lifted the top trophy in English football, 3 times in a row & seven other top 3 finishes (RU 3, 3rd 4)........Blackpool runners up/3rd once each, Bolton 3rd (3), the Brummies highest ever league finish was 6th in 1955/56.

Not really. About 1750 more than Town on average last season ( interest boosted by their takeover maybe) That was the first time they'd averaged more than Town since we dropped back down to the championship.
Id say Birmingham are a pretty averaged sized championship club.

They won the league cup in 2011. I think that's the only major honour they've ever won. No top division titles, no FA Cups. They're utterly dwarfed by Aston Villa.

Chris Davies leaves Spurs coaching staff to become Tony Mowbray's replacement at Birmingham City on a 4 year contract, on paper it looks a bit of a gamble for the 3/1 title favourites......Was he mentioned for the Town job at one point? Interesting appointment, but will it payoff?

Interesting appointment, but will it payoff? I think this might’ve been the guy that was assistant manager to Brendan Rodgers in his first stint at Parkhead with Celtic when they were smashing all the records in Scottish Football left, right and centre irverino... Smashing records in Scottish Football left, right and centre might see him do ok in League 1 but The Unforgiving and Brutal Nature and Competitiveness of The Championship will altogether be a totally different animal should he manage to guide them to promotion... If he does fair play to him... Just as long as HTAFC are Champions and complete the set of four titles !!! 😉
