Just been looking at who we should get in at LB.
This guy fits the mould, only 22 and will appreciate in value, plus he creates plenty….
Matches - 47 Goals - 6 Assists - 15

Burrows would be too expensive - he's the Posh captain and their top performer so if they are going to sell then it would be to a Championship club for around £1-2M.
Rosaire Longelo from Accrington would be my recommendation for LB position. He is 24 and has potential to develop, best attributes are pace and stamina which is what we need for that position plus he shouldn't be too expensive in terms of transfer fee and wages so it's worth us taking a look at.
Other players I have on my shortlist are Rio Adebisi (Crewe), Lewis Gordon (Bristol Rovers) and Adam Lewis (Liverpool).

Do we need a left back is the first question. Its mega low on the priority list for me.
Will Duff play a system that needs them? And is there anyone available for a low cost that will be better than Ruffles or Jackson (or Spencer who played there pretty well last season Or Headley if he stays)

The only issue is , i don't think for a second Posh would sell to us. Burrows would walk into our team at left wing back.

Very strange thing about Spencer. He looks like a right back, everything about him, his shape, how he tackles etc make you think he’d struggle to play any other position.
Then all his best games for Town have been at left back. In fact his games at right back have not impressed me at all.

Who knows what KN told him? Or he is just putting a brave face on the pressure any sane man should be feeling.

God knows, but to come out with the line he did, shows a lack of or an under esitimation on exactly how bad he has done to date.

Let's face it. He's hardly going to say in a press conference: I haven't been sleeping well all year as I've been playing the decisions I've made over and over in my head. OR Kevin has told me I am in last chance saloon and I need to buck my ideas up. Etc.

Instead of covering his back side and making every excuse under the sun.

Burrows would have been an impressive signing if we'd stayed up.
If he's playing in League 1 next season I'll be very surprised, and if he is, it'll be because Posh haven't let him go.

To me, that is a very strange video, he initially looks pacey but doesn't seem to get away from many people & a lot of his crosses end up being squeezed by defenders, with very few attempts at beating his man. I wasn't overly impressed by those "highlights"

Looks to play on the right not left? Looks skillful enough, doesn't necessarily need to be rapid. I wonder if he can defend?

Looks skillful enough, doesn't necessarily need to be rapid. I wonder if he can defend? Later on in the video there's some clips of him on the left and he looks a lot better there. I get why people don't rate him on that, but for me he looks a potential option at LWB. Nonetheless, having watched the video again I might downgrade my assessment of him.
