[waits for Maynard to like post] OK - who is Maynard? A poster who is genuinely in the know. Nobody knows his/her true identity. And if they do they're not telling, understandably

Check their posting history mate, this guy/girl is NOT a chancer and/or bullshitter. Genuinely in the know. You don't have to believe it but if you've been posting on here long enough you just KNOW.

In the last five years we've had eight permanent managers. Jan Siewert brought in two assistant managers in his seven months in charge. Danny Cowley brought in an assistant manager in his 10 months in charge. Carlos Corberan brought in three assistant managers in his two years in charge. Danny Schofield brought in a first team coach during his 69 days in charge. Mark Fotheringham brought in an assistant manager during his five months in charge. Neil Warnock brought in an assistant manager, a goalkeeping coach and a first team coach during his seven months in charge. Darren Moore brought in an assistant manager, a first team coach, a goalkeeping coach and a set-piece coach during his four months in charge. Andre Breitenreiter brought in three assistant coaches and a goalkeeping coach. By my reckoning, since June 2019, we've had 12 assistant managers/coaches, four goalkeeping coaches and four first team/set-piece coaches. That's fucking mental. I dread to think how much they've all cost. Jeez. Thanks for that. Really highlights the turbulent recent years. Time to settle down now hopefully. That’s the sentiment with every managerial appointment!

Was it poisonous players or players receiving just another way on how they should be playing by an arrogant German.

I could, but your post that I responded to, not only mentions him but builds the story of the frustrations the players have had to face culminating in AB's rant when he realised he had dragged us down a division.

On balance we could all do without harking back to AB, Warnock etc. However, to really put the past season to bed we need Duff to have a good coming season.

Maybe if the players can do things like pass a ball and run then there wouldn't be so many changes. Really can't believe people are trying to defend the overpaid useless spineless morons that aren't fit enough to wear our badge.

I think that we have all seen that our recruitment since getting promoted to the Premier League has not been good. Too much money spent on players that were not very good. Since our relegation we have been in a constant sell any players that we can get any money for and replace them with old ex-Town, old, injured and lower league punts. We don't have the best squad and some have attitudes, but not all of them. I don't think that it is fair to put them all in the same bag. I also would not take what a failed manager said about the players at face value. Said manager proved himself to be worse than DM & Buzz and was trying to put it all down to the players. For someone with his CV he showed himself to be out of his depth with his lack of ability to work with our squad. The shame his he did not have to do that much considering we were in a relatively good position when he arrived, but his man management must have been non existent.

You blame all the changes, then change it to the recruitment. Shouldn't matter who the manager is, I have seen kids pass a ball better than this current group. They are collectively worse than any squad I have witnessed. It wouldn't upset me at all if none of them played again for us. But you seem to think everything started when AB took over. He wasn't great, but it was only a minor factor.

With that said it is the much the same squad that Warnock had and he got a tune out of them. If we look at Buzz and DM neither of which showed that they were able to make a team out of the players, but they did better than AB. When AB arrived we were out of the relegation zone and several points clear of it. He then picks up the lowest points per game than our recent managers and then decides to stand up and point the finger at someone else after he got us relegated. The passing has not been good for years but others managed to pick up more points than AB and they did not try to blame others for their own lack of management skill. Next time I will try and make things a little simpler for you to understand.

And I merely pointed out that they were mainly to blame due to their lack of ability. Most of your posts lately are aimed at AB - I agree with you on them too. But surely you can agree we have a squad who lack the basics which I find baffling as you and I could pass a ball better. And they have zero pride for the badge.

But surely you can agree we have a squad who lack the basics which I find baffling as you and I could pass a ball better. And they have zero pride for the badge. There has been a lot going on at Town and unfortunately not any of it good. I think that we agree that the players are not the most gifted and simple passing seems to be beyond some of them. The players have been reasonably constant in this, but I think that we can agree that AB got the benefit of the January window (I don't think that this was a big benefit). So with a reasonably constant set of players we have been poor. We get a new manager that takes our point collection to a new low and he starts pointing the finger at everyone else but himself. That is why I don't take AB's excuses seriously. He had a difficult job but did a worse job of managing them than anyone else. I pointed out that possibly the players seeing yet another change in coaches may not have helped the situation. As I said before there were a lot of things going on and it can be an oversimplification to put it down to one reason alone. I can quite easily see that some are difficult to manage, but to say they are poisonous after you failed to manage the situation makes AB appear amature at best.

Instead of signing ex players, they're on the fucking staff now 😂😂😂 Working their way up. This time next year we'll be reappointing Ian Ayre to the Board of Directors.

Shame we couldn’t have sold him prior to the p/o final… 😂
