Hi . Receive message via mobile that I am banned on this forum. Very rarely post and admin am sure will see I have not breached any rules. Why has this ban happened? Used VPN and checked posts in case hacked and someone else posted something bad , but nope. All seems fine. Any help appreciated . Thanks

If you're able to log in to your account via a VPN then it seems it isn't banned.
Sounds like your original IP address is on Proboards' block list for whatever reason.
If you are accessing via mobile networks you could try turning Airplane Mode on and then off - this should encourage your network provider to assign you a new IP.

Thanks Hi If you scroll further down this Technical Support you will see that this is something that occasionally occurs to many of us ( including me ) We have no idea why it happens . All I can suggest is that you persevere until the issue clears- it will, usually after a few hours. |

So I have been banned again for nearly a week despite doing nothing wrong. This is so frustrating. I had to change from Clarke W Griswald and set up another account under Randy Watson losing all my history. Now I've had to create another account from my wife's email just to be able to flag my issue up. Admins I know it's not your fault but this is a joke. I'd love to know if anyone else has multiple accounts banned UTT

Now I've had to create another account from my wife's email just to be able to flag my issue up. Admins I know it's not your fault but this is a joke. This used to happen to me a lot but mainly when I was at work and using my 5G. Always was ok when I got home so took it as a sign I really should be working when at work and not doom scrolling 😊

I'd love to know if anyone else has multiple accounts banned UTT We can only apologise for this inconvenience, it does seem to happen more frequently than is acceptable but from past experience trying to sort a few background glitches out, I can say the ProBoards Support Forum is spot on. Hopefully they can help you out. |
