Such a shame this… 350k and could go for 10 x that in a single good season.
Just knowing Peterborough are interested should be enough for any team (us) to go all out for him, especially with how well Peterborough constantly scout talent..

By Alan Nixon Peterborough United are close to clinching a deal for Altrincham attacking star Chris Conn-Clarke. The National League side are set to seal a £350,000 for their main man who has also been chased by Wigan Athletic. Posh have been leading the race for a few weeks and have edged closer to the asking price - with the auction about to end. We need to sign up who ever signs these none league gems from Peterborough, there scouts or who ever it is there because they have a track record like Brentford for bringing in lower league talents and selling them on for mega bucks a year or 2 later plus improving there squad from the off!

£350,000 is peanuts these days and I imagine his wages can’t be big.
If we want him then you have to assume he’d come here over Peterborough.

Big Barry fry and his son. Remember reading an article bit back about them going all over watching players etc. Think the knack of going scouting is diminishing all seems to be stats, computer generated scouting.

Tell that to Brighton and Brentford, who are all about the stats and arguably have had the most efficient scouting network in the world, in the past 5 or so years.

Never said it was wrong just think there is room for both but seems a lot of clubs have lost the knack of going out and physically scouting players ie the posh etc or is it these clubs give them a platform but could say we have tried that but have just bought more duds than others hence good scouting can work also.

signed for Posh for a high six figure fee Couldn't compete with Shrewsbury and now Peterborough. Duff will do well to keep us out of the bottom 4

I wasn't being serious. Shame about Forino Yeah he seems decent. Sounds quite injury prone though so a 3 year contract is a risk for Bolton
