Mrs Mids' birthday today too...Nice of the hotel in Dominican we're at to put a party on for her...although on reflection there are a lot of American flags and bellies out  10th wedding anniversary tomorrow too...she's done very well putting up with me for so long  😀 |

My hometown will always be Birstall, but we live in Walton, a small village and my avatar is Mere Pond in the middle of the village. Overlooking it is a cracking Italian restaurant called Spaghetti Tree and that’s where we’re going tonight. The Blue Ball pub is next door to it so we’ll pop in there as well, then walk two minutes back home! |

I can’t think of anywhere nicer than the Inner Hebrides though, love the Arisaig area in particular and the views to Eigg, Muck, Canna and Rhum, also love the Glenelg, Torridon and Lochinver/Stoer areas. Get yourself and your lovely lady up to The Whisky Isle for your next Scottish trip Walton ! 🥃 👍 EDIT - And any other HTAFC fans on DATM also... (It’s probably one of the nearest ones to England - although it’s a 105 mile drive from Glasgow to the ferry port of Kennacraig) - But a very scenic drive we’ll probably 95 miles of it anyway) ! |

Strong winds and mountains of tidal seaweed is as bad as it got. Gets a bad rep does Koroma but I find it hard to dislike him. His quiet personality gets mistaken for not caring but he's a good lad who just struggles with confidence Don't really see a place for him in a 352 though so don't think he'll be here come September. Enjoy the rest of your holiday. Always fancied a holiday in the Carribbean but hate long flights. I'll stick to the Balearics |

Doing the Saturday crossroad in the i last week, I learned that one of the islands in the Inner Hebrides is called "Colonsay"... If the folk on the other islands haven't nicknamed that one "the A**ehole of the Hebrides" I'll be slightly disappointed! |
