Rumour has it that CastleHillTerrier really isnt ITK ! and Ken Davy is off to Turkey to get his gnashers fixed to look like Jurgen Klopp I also hear CHT has gone with him, dressed in this seasons red and black away kit.......

I will drive him there. Sorry for those who like him but I have never rated him. Too inconsistent and his insistence on pulling the sleeves of his shirt over his hands to keep them warm really winds me up. Other than that.. š¤£š¤£ I'll pay for your petrol

I want Koroma to stay. I reckon he'll get a fair chunk of goals at this level and possibly move him on after.
If it's the right manager he performs. I know it's annoying he's a well paid professional footballer they should perform regardless but that's a different topic.

I agree, I think he comes across as lazy. I don't think it should be if he gets on with the manager he will give 100%. Josh is a professional player therefore he should play at his best or leave. However, I don't see this changing so I won't be bothered if he goes.

Am hoping that Josh is going to knuckle down ,in the couple of friendlies so far this season he has looked ok but crucially the body language has been positive ,missed one or two that he should have scored but was fed up at doing so .

Better than 1 in 3 for goal contributions since he's been at town. One of the few players putting in effort towards the end of last season. Played under countless shit managers. He'll be fine in league 1 under Duff.

Ok. Thread reopened for Josh Koroma comments. Yes, a number of posts have been deleted. If anyone has issue please DM myself or one of the other admins. No need to bring it up on this thread.

Josh always appears to pop up in the right place on the pitch. I feel he reads the movement and positioning of the game very well but in the stats driven world, I can't see anyone coming in for him.

I like him. Think he always plays better as a striker. Absolutely ruined Sheff Wed when we put him there last season and then didn't seem to do it again weirdly..

Stats driven world? A goal contribution every 254 minutes played in the championship. Hardly stunk the league out, has he? Just coming into his prime at 25 aswell.

All I'm saying is that I think he'll stay a Terrier and I'm more than happy to keep him, I'm not sure how you could infer from my post that it was negative about Josh's contribution. This is a thread about a transfer and I don't see him moving on. Every time he plays, I think he adds value, more than other options in his position. In the 'Stats driven world' as I mentioned, those looking for a striker will most likely look past him, as his contributions are far more than what you would expect from a player in that position.

He's stood out in pre-season, looks hungry. Duff is known for getting the best out of his attacking players and I'd rather have Koroma as an option up front than Ward. He also gives us some flexibility if Duff wants to change formation with out and out wingers. Could be a key player for us this coming season.

He did well in the games in Austria against a better class of opposition than we'll be playing in L1. I'd certainly have him ahead of Ward in the striker pecking order.

Always performs better when the coach believes in him, looks to be the case with Duff. I'd be disappointed if we lost him when he's got the potential at the top of his game to destroy defences at this level.

Great age, last year of contract, needs tying down for 3 years or sell in January.

I like JK, seems to have overcome his confidence issues. That game against Burnley at home 2 seasons ago to where he is now...wow

I presume everyone has amnesia? Koroma has performed well under two managers (and one of those was only for half a season) in the five years he's been here. He's also had two loan spells at this level and did nothing in either spell.
Are we back to being happy that his contract was renewed last season? Or still using it as a stick to beat Warnock with? It's hard to keep up.

It's hard to keep up. I think most folks are managing to keep up quite well. What some posters are saying, and I agree with them, is Koroma, like many players, do better when they are happy and managed well. He seems to be doing well so far under Duff and Iām sure we all hope that continues.

I wouldn't have renewed his contract, but it's done now. I'd be looking to move Hudlin, Ward and probably Harratt on first before Koroma given a choice š.

In the case of Hudlin, which right minded scout/DOF is going to see him as any sort of an asset other than being able to put the nets up without the need for a ladder?

Pay them up. For some of them (possibly all of them) that may be the best option, if only to free up some wages and squad places.
