£500k for a 25 year old that averages a better than 1 in 3 goal contributions in the championship sounds cheap to me.

I know he's a bit in and out and frustrating but he'll piss it up the wall in League One and he certainly wouldn't be going to a promotion rival that's for sure. |

Wouldn't be a fan of this, if you can get in his head and keep him confident he's a threat in the Championship never mind League 1. £500k sounds really cheap as well if we don't have to sell.

I know he's a bit in and out and frustrating but he'll piss it up the wall in League One and he certainly wouldn't be going to a promotion rival that's for sure. He didn't pull up any trees on loan at Pompey at that (this) level so I'm not sure he could be relied on this time for us. He's also part of a culture of serial losers. As a confidence player I think his experience with us has done him more harm than good. For those reasons I'd be grateful for any half-decent fee for him, and any other players who have had time to become accustomed to being involved in shite performances week after week. |

We ain't a clue if this would be good or bad.
Primarily depends on how Duff sees him fitting in his plans. Many players, in particular forwards, fit well in limited systems/tactics, rather than it necessarily being down to effort, form, etc.
Obviously wouldn't be ideal selling to a likely rival mind.

I will drive him there. Sorry for those who like him but I have never rated him. Too inconsistent and his insistence on pulling the sleeves of his shirt over his hands to keep them warm really winds me up.
Other than that.. 🤣🤣

Doubt this. Very capable Championship player when with a manager who can get the best out of him. In League 1 he will be very dangerous and would be a good season for him to regain some confidence.
I'd expect Duff would be keen to keep.

FWIW, I didn't get it from Twitter. I got it from Facebook. Although:
1) The person on Facebook might have got it from Twitter.
2) Even if they didn't, it doesn't mean it's a reliable rumour.
I just passed on a rumour that I saw. I rarely (if ever) have any idea whether the source is any good.
