The Club are working towards having all the names of stands back to what they are know as within the fan base, so are moving away from sponsorship names, guessing they have done the same with Canalside too. Moving forward the 4 stands will be know as Kilner Bank, The Cowshed, Riverside and Terriers Together. Once the sponsorship agreement with John Smiths runs out, the ground will also be renamed, as yet I dont know what this will be, but I'd imagine given Nagles attitude towards the history of the Club then it will be Leeds Road related in some way. The Club are investing quite a significant amount of money into the look and feel of the stadium over this summer and it will have a very different vibe this coming season from what it has done historically. I do really like this idea of proper stand names. I'd have absolutely no idea what to call the ground though. I'd imagine the type of options being banded around are 'The Kirklees Stadium', 'The Huddersfield Town Stadium' and 'New Leeds Road' but I'm not really keen on either and have no idea what would work... |

Worth saying that until we own the stadium we get no benefit from the sponsorship.
As I understand it we pay the same amount to KSDL no matter what.
Probably a good thing that there is no sponsorship no so that when we buy/take control of the stadium we can negotiate our own deals.

There’s just something about the South Stand being renamed the Cowshed that makes me happy. Would be rather nice to see a version of the old Cowshed sign on display as you enter the stand or internal across the back panels.The whole interior of the concourse (all brick wall space) is being branded with artwork - some of which will contain imagery of the old Cowshed. Not as explicitly as you're stating but the club are definitely investing in doing up the look and feel of the SS / Cowshed. |

With getting the feeling I've had my head up my arse. What's happening with the shares in the ground? Did anything happen is it still the same? I feel like I've probably missed something. According to the video diaries talks are at an advanced stage and he's confident of getting control, but not 100% certain. |

Sponsorship branding all coming down too by the looks We won't be going sponsorless. I imagine he's got some big deal lined up for once he has full control Great to see that he continues to improve the stadium though. We could have done so much worse than KN Hopefully, they think about pulling out all the weeds and bushes growing out the bottom of the floodlights etc. too. |
