I think we got 1700 last year for Plymouth so should imagine there will be enough for anyone who wants to go

Peterborough have given 3 blocks of behind the goal to their own fans so I wonder if these sell out quickly there’s a chance of more tickets behind the goal

(the paper will be flat obviously) TBF you may be correct... ...but a number of concert promoters now only sell tickets via smartphone app (not PC). If it is possible to print your own tickets via PC, IMHO, I think it would have been clearer to say that.

Which is shit for those of us who don't take our smartphones to concerts. I stopped taking mine after it managed to fall out of a ZIPPED pocket and smash to pieces in the moshpit. This headlong rush to digitise everything is stupid, especially given what happened last week.

I don’t like tickets being digitised either. Went to a gig at Scarborough Open Air Theatre last month and couldn’t access Ticketmaster app nor the Open Air Theatre app when outside nor could I do it on their Wi-Fi so ended up further down by the beach before we could get in. Bad enough when trying to get into arenas too. Signal turns pants whenever you get near a stadium/venue!

Quick one….I’m a season card holder but the lads I go with haven’t renewed this season. Would that mean I couldn’t purchase away tickets for them and they’d have to wait for general sale as before for away tickets iv always been able to get us all together.

Due to them not being SC holders, you won't be able to assign tickets to their ref numbers until general sale.

Genuine question, why would a PA need a paper ticket?

Genuine question, why would a PA need a paper ticket? I guess the same reason anybody might. PAs are often partners or family carers so may not have smartphones or may have difficulty using them. Also, if you're pushing a wheelchair through the varying arrangements that different grounds have, having to manipulate one never mind two mobile phones can be tricky.
In my experience as well, stewards will often take your phone away from you to scan it. You usually enter via a gate which will be close to the turnstiles but isn't actually one. So you're asking a steward to take both your mobile phones to the nearest turnstile or the PA to leave the person so they can enter PINs or allow facial recognition.
I'm reasonably savvy with phones & don't bother too much about it being taken off me, but there's a bit of me thinks it's not on. I can imagine some might feel more strongly.

I’m sure these tickets will be able to add to the wallet, but often the QR codes are live and need you to use the app to access them.

I’m reasonably internet savvy but for anybody who isn’t cannot you simply print off the email ticket that will be sent out next week and scan that at turnstiles ?

Some people need to get with the times. Missing Town games because you ‘can’t be arsed with all that Google stuff’ is either ridiculously lazy, or you aren’t that bothered for watching the games.

Getting most printers to bloody work is harder than just saving it to your phone wallet. To be honest, I'm 72 in September and much prefer the whole digital stuff. Bank with Starling, why folks want to queue in banks baffles me, but could understand it with my dad who was 88 and those of a similar age. Yep I know they're spying on me, don't give a jot at 72, maybe if I was 20 that would seem important. Instant notification, facial I.D. that actually works on the brand of phone folks love to hate, instant switch off of the card when you get pissed and forget where you left it, so no need to report it lost, when you know it'll turn up two seconds after. Oh and I scan my own shopping as I go round too, which will make me the devil in some's eyes. ( I just find it easier to bag as I go, shopping is my job, beats bloody ironing and the wife hates it) Through the checkout in seconds, whilst others are scanning every item and trying to find enough room to put them on the other side. ( Oh and I'm honest, don't think I've had the five item check in a year) OK So! I like technology., Sorry about long sentence, dog dying to get out for his walk as he refuses to dump in the garden for some unknown reason, but field across the road o.k.
