What's that got to do with the price of fish? Have you been reading the last few comments regarding Headley? All I was saying was it isn't the first time he's been the laugh on a social media video. Any way to watch without paying? O/seas viewers can't even watch if they were willing to pay. Not that we're missing much if it's like the last game which appeared to be filmed by someone with a gopro on his head. Embarrassing that they charged for that. |

Just stand back a bit and think about it, put yourself in these players positions. Jackson looked a real prospect when he started playing first team level. I remember him scoring a cracking free kick in a preseason game, against Morcombe I think. He also played well early last season at right back. He struggled last season trying to play neat football at left back and losing the ball, but he really wasn’t alone in that. Being strong mentally is a huge thing, especially when you are in the public eye the way these lads are. Having armchair pundits calling them shit on social media must really add to the pressure they feel. It is unnecessary and unhelpful. So shall I just say he's brilliant instead? Jackson is poor. I don't see this "there's a player in there" or "great prospect" at all. I have every sympathy with him, but I don't rate him. I haven't tweeted him or abused him, I've just given an opinion on his abilities as a footballer on a message board. Do people have any thoughts for Alex Pritchard's mental health when they're giving him dogs abuse? Or Sorba Thomas when they're branding him a nonce and chanting "paedo paedo paedo" at him? Where do we draw the line? Do we stop having opinions on players because it might upset them? Some people on here have said far worse things about other current players, yet as far as I can see, no-one has called it out and thought about how that player might be feeling mentally. Or perhaps its just my opinion that warrants being called out? Balance is something that is a rare commodity on here, I think people forget these are our players ffs |

We're up against a decent side here and have hardly been in their half so far. Commentators buttering Ruffles up who's been shite in every pre-season game he's played in. We desperately need a left sided central defender as all the danger seems to come down that side.
