Every players support of gay rights by the wearing of rainbow laces and armbands went out the window when the WC was in Qatar. Seems unfair on Henderson that he gets singled out. You're right, but its because Henderson went out of his way align himself with gay rights and speak out about it etc, when he saw the dollar signs he couldnt give a toss about principals n'all all that, but i suppose many on here would abandon them too if a few million was on offer. I bet a very large % will make the same decision for the wage Henderson was offered. At his age and stage of his career I don't really blame him. He did strongly align himself as a protector of those people though which makes him seem daft. |
