Hi all, It's our first time properly on DATM so hope we're doing this right! You may have known us from the preview shows for And He Takes That Chance but this week we've launched a new podcast called 'Still Smiling', where we will speak to Huddersfield Town fans, former and current players, and others with a connection to the club as they relive their Terrier-following life with questions about their favourite and worst moments. We wanted to do this as a passion project because given how the team has been the past few seasons, it felt improtant to remind ourselves and others why we fell in love with the club and reminisce about iconic moments in its history. Our first episode is with the legend Mel Booth who covered the club as a reporter over four decades for the Huddersfield Daily Examiner and if that's your sort of thing, we'd love if you could give it a listen and see what you think. The link to the podcast is here: bit.ly/MelBoothPodAs mentioned, we're looking to speak to fans or anyone connected to the club who has an interesting story to tell, so if there's any guests you'd like to hear or any you think would be worth talking to, please let us know in this thread or on our social channels which we've attached below. Here's hoping for a more positive season! UTT. Thanks, Brady and Tom Check out Still Smiling: A Huddersfield Town Podcast here: shows.acast.com/still-smiling-a-huddersfield-town-podcastTwitter: twitter.com/stillsmilingpodInstagram: www.instagram.com/stillsmilingpod/

Hi all, Thanks for all the likes on here and those who gave us a listen, we hope you enjoyed the pod with Mel! Our second episode is out today with illustrator and graphic designer Peter O'Toole. Pete spoke to us about some of the projects he's worked on with Town such as the training kits and the yellow and red Yorkshire Air Ambulance shirt that the team wore against Norwich in the 22/23 season, so if you're into your football kits - it's right up your street. The link to the episode is here: bit.ly/PeterOToolePodThanks, Brady and Tom

Hi all, Thanks to all of you that have listened to the pod so far and spoken to/followed us on social media! Our third episode is out today with Freddie Cocker. Freddie is the founder of Vent, a place where everyone, but especially men and boys can open up about their mental health issues, break down stigmas and start conversations. We chat to Freddie about wearing an Efe Sodje bandana at school, why he thinks the club didn't use Jordan Rhodes properly in his second spell with the club and growing up in London supporting The Terriers. The link to the episode is here: bit.ly/FreddieCockerPodIf you have any suggestions for future guests too let us know! Thanks, Brady and Tom

We've also got a special bonus episode this week ahead of the new season, it's our League One Lowdown Q&A With Gab Sutton! Gab Sutton, the presenter of the EFL Debate, a pundit for BBC Squad Goals, and a PFA panellist, shares his insights on the competitiveness of League One, how the league has evolved, and which teams and players to watch out for. We dive into how The Terriers can navigate this challenging league, the areas needing strengthening, and Gab's thoughts on Michael Duff's appointment as manager. We also tackle listeners' questions, including the best up-and-coming strikers, the hardest places to play away, and whether Town can bounce back quickly. Plus, Gab gives his predictions for the season in a quick-fire round. If you want to listen to that (certainly eye-opening for us!), the link to listen to the episode is here: bit.ly/GabSuttonPodBring on the season! UTT Thanks, Brady and Tom

Looking forward to hearing more from you guys, keep it up!

Hi all, We've got another episode of the My Town series out this week. It's with Richard Haigh, a lifelong Huddersfield Town fan of 63 years who now resides in the USA. Richard shares his unique perspective on supporting Town from across the pond, recounting his early days in Huddersfield, his first game under floodlights at Leeds Road, and his experiences as an international supporter. Richard discusses his favourite managers, including Neil Warnock and Ian Greaves, and his favourite players, such as Ray Wilson and Frank Worthington. He also delves into his first heartbreak as a fan, the relegation from the First Division in the early '70s, and his dream signings, including Erling Haaland and Lewis O'Brien. Hi all, Apologies for not posting for a while but there are a few episodes to share with you in case you missed them. We spoke to David Fox, part of the Southern Exiles group, who supported The Terriers down south. We covered about him bringing Rajiv Van La Parra some Christmas cake, wearing dressing gowns for Michael Hefele and taking Danny Schofield to see Oasis. You can listen to that here: bit.ly/DavidFoxPodWe also caught up with James Whittaker and pondered about some of the hypotheticals with Huddersfield Town such as what if Town kept Jacko and how he was heartbroken by Jon Stead, you can listen here: bit.ly/JamesWhittakerPodWe chatted with Robbie Jay Barratt, a Town fan and photographer who's covered two World Cups and two Euros and speaks to us about some iconic Huddersfield Town photos he's taken in his time, the link is here: bit.ly/RobbieBarrattPodFinally, we spoke with ex-Huddersfield Town goalkeeper Phil Senior. Phil was very honest and we’ll admit Brady was close to tears at one point. Phil absolutely loves Huddersfield Town and we’d recommend giving it a listen for some insight into the Jacko days. You can listen to that episode here: bit.ly/PhilSeniorPodAnd that is Series One of the My Town Series done! If you have any suggestions for who we should have on next, please comment below. Thanks to everyone who's listened so far and see you for Season Two! UTT. Cheers, Brady and Tom
