Been talking to a few of the lads today and they didn’t even realise we were playing them on Friday night down at the stadium. Looked online and plenty of tickets available. Be a shame if we can’t get at least 7-8k down for this one. UTT.

About as uninspiring a friendly as I can think of wanting to watch Yeah but I’d hope for a decent turn out at only £10 quid a ticket and £5 quid concessions. Reckon sheff United will bring 1500. Hopefully we can get as many town fans down as possible before the big kick off weekend after against Peterborough |

No way will they bring 1500 for a friendly away from home. Well they took 2,500 over to Rotherham last week so ya never know The only thing that separates Rotherham and Sheffield is the M1 Tinsley Viaduct, it's like a home game. |

Friendlies are as dull as ditchwater. Only if I have absolutely nothing else to do would I consider going.
There's got to be something at stake to get excited about watching a football match for me.

Agree, only friendlies i consider going to nowadays are if its a ground i haven't been to, been to places ive never been to before and not likely to go again. |

Nobody has to go, its just a training game with a little more interest and bite. Friendlies are a personal choice, the club may have tried other fixtures to no gain, as a friendly I dont see the Blades as a bad one to have. We need to play games, the standard of the opposition does need to be better than the teams we played last pre season and including Sheff Utd they will have been. I will pop along and have a look at the new lads without much on the result.. |

I normally go to the friendless but according to the website the only stand open for Town fans is the Core stand, the only car park is the Gas Works, that's no good for fans coming on Leeds road plus its forecast to rain, so i will give this one a miss.

Went to one there years ago, can't remember a single thing about the game other than it being Tom Cowan's comeback from his knee injury which was the only reason we went in the first place. |

Amazed with the apathy around going to this. Can’t think why you wouldn’t really. Oh, yes it’s raining! Get your sen down. Positive summer on and off the pitch. Yes we need a couple more in but as we’re away first league match, good chance for those of you that haven’t seen us in the flesh yet pre season to see how we’re getting on. Sheff Utd perfect oppo for last match before it all kicks off. UTT!
