It'd be nice for AHTTC to be able to do the podcast for a season where we're doing well. I've felt a bit sorry for them over the years as there hasn't been much to shout about on the pitch since they started the podcast, 2021-22 aside.
I still watch this video quite often and never fail to shed a tear:

I buy mics for the likes of Ginger Ogre and Kosi and then when I log on they're both sat there using their phones with the TV on in the background. I run their audio through alsorts of filters to make it sound better and in general the audio podcast will be of better quality than the YouTube one, but sometimes it's like putting lipstick on a pig. Also, often the audio can be reasonably fine, I just think sometimes people listen to the podcast on a potato.  |

If we can't find a sponsor to plug the gaps then we might have to go down the Chicken route or look at some form of fund raising. I'm looking into streamlining a lot of things for cost, but I can't have another year where a sponsor says they'll cover things, then has a change of management and decides against it which then leaves me with a 1k black hole to fill. So if everyone could listen to the pod and put up with the Talksport ads instead of using YouTube that would help a lot. |

Thanks Chaps. Currently there is a Sky Sports + advert running (where I get to slander Bradford City without them realising) via Acast and the more listeners we get the better the revenue. You can listen to it via Apple/Google podcasts/spotify or any pod provider and it's better for us. YouTube are pretty naff payers and we get about Β£20 every 6 months so the goal of getting a new microphone for Kosi comes around quicker. Plus you don't have to look at us ugly buggers if you listen to it. |

It'd be nice to be able to speak to Kevin Nagle, Jake Edwards or Michael Duff, but by the time we'd get to speak to them I think everything would have already been asked by Radio Leeds, Steven Chicken or the YP and we'd be quite rightly at the back of the queue. Plus I prefer the niche ones like Justasmithers  |

The fact he went and sat on the bench and then wandered around the pitch afterwards gave me some hope it wasn't too serious. A bad one and surely he would have down the tunnel getting it looked at

Have you tried crowdfunding? - I have a small music podcast that we do without advertising and we started a gofundme to raise money for expenses and we managed to raise Β£1200. People pay as much (or as little/none) as they like. I was VERY surprised at the support we got.
