They don’t make players like him anymore. Snapped Bowyer in half twice when he played for Charlton then Leeds in pre-season friendly. Stamped on his Swindon shirt and put a Town shirt on in last game of season once and scored winning penalty v Brentford in 95. Pleasure to see and hear him today.

Always positive comments about the club and fans.

My favourite Town player of all time. My mate used to play cricket with him & always said what a great bloke he was. When my mate told him he was my fave player Bully sent me a little video message thanking me for my support.

Wondered what the heck we’d bought when I saw him on debut (before he kicked off I might add). £40k from Nuneaton Borough?
As it worked out he was worth ten times that IMO. Town Legend. He wouldn’t have stood for the dirge we’ve been subjected to on the pitch these last few years.

Apparantly Warnock signed him after only six minutes of watching him, won an header won a tackle and got booked, that was enough for Warnock what a signing he turned out to be.

Not sure if it's because that team was my first full-time team but Bully, Scully, Cowan and Jeppo will always be among my favourite players.

Same here with Andy Booth, Pawel Abbott, Rob Edwards, Steve Yates, Efe Sodje, Danny Schofield and Tony Carss.

I'll never have a bad word to say about Pav after the way he interacted with my godkids on their Kirklees 7s day. Photos, hugs and he laughed when Owen kicked the dwarfs mascot
