So we are now down to just two available options.
Koroma and Marshall.
The rest...
Ward - Banned for three games. Healey - Injured (No idea when he will be fit) Radulovic - Injured (Apparently back in two weeks or so)
With Harratt gone, we also now have no youth players we can throw in, even if they aren't the best.
Also Marshall won't be available while he is away playing for his country.
Quite concerning that we are only four games in and down to bare bones.

It’s a monumental fuck up. To let Harratt go when we hadn’t got Taylor over the line and knowing Bojan is a way off full match fitness and that Healey is a strong gust of wind away from a 3 month lay off was stupid.
Today couldn’t have gone much worse for Mr Nagles “trust the strikers we have” rant yesterday.
Unsurprisingly the fans who knew we didn’t have enough as we have seen this all before have been proven right.
Also fine that pillock Ward the maximum you can town!

He barely touched him, in fact I’m not sure he even did, no leading elbow or intent, just misjudged where the ball was. Their players pathetic reaction got him sent off & big surprise he was absolutely fine straight after. The more I watch that red card and pen the more wound up I get. Two absolutely terrible decisions, and the cretin couldn’t wait to give both against us. Hopefully the week off will do us good & get a few back from injuries

Apparently both Koroma and Marshall may be missing in midweek as they are likely to be on international duty. Which leaves us with no strikers. Bet Duff is chuffed.

Given that Healey was on the bench today I would assume he'd be fit for our next game in 2 weeks.
Bojan as you say should be fit in around 2 weeks.
So I'd suggest our striker options for our next league game are Healey, Bojan, Marshall and Koroma.

Healy I'm afraid is made of glass he just can't stay fit.Feel sorry for the lad as he must be pissed right off but it's not doing the club any favours either.

Need a couple free agents in this week. Not ideal but can’t be any worse I agree but I doubt it will happen. Same old striker issue which for some reason we never learn to correct. They'll stick to the premise that our current strikers are good enough. If they were fit I'd tend to agree but at least 2 are very injury prone. Past couple of games have changed my opinion of our realistic expectations this season, top 6 was my guess but not so sure now.

So, no. Fair enough Dan. I was tempted to bet that neither Healey nor Bojan would be available, but I'm determined to be positive. Positive that Cartwright etc have totally buggered up our chances of success this season. I'll be called a bedwetter no doubt but I genuinely can't see how they have failed so miserably in their striker hunt for at least the second window running. We really might start the match against Doncaster without a striker on the pitch !!!

Anyone know if we’ve any youth team strikers? Not sure our movement and passing is good enough to adopt a false 9 Pep system. With Wiles as the false 9. That would definitely be a game to miss.

So, no. I'm assuming Healey was taken today with Town knowing he wasn't fully fit but wanted him to take part in the warm up to see how it felt. I doubt he got injured during the warm up, was probably just a case of him telling the physios it still didn't feel right and they decided it was pointless having him on the bench

Plus I don’t think we’re in the position to turn our noses up at players who’ve scored lots of goals in this country

Season after season makes no difference who the owner/manager is they never invest in a decent striker(s). Talks cheap and Town are pound shop level. I hope I am wrong but I predict Birmingham promoted, Town mid table.

It’s a bit of a premier league one if anything - barley any contact- in hosting for position id say rather than a big pull back.. but I’d need to see it again to be sure. Thats how I saw it at the time. It’s easy to be all doom and gloom but it’s a point dropped that’s all. On another day we take a battling point but it wasn’t to be. Another Game in a few days and 3 points on offer. That’s the beauty of this league. Fixtures just keep on coming thick and fast. No time to dwell on todays game. With several injuries the squad is creaking but it means opportunities for players to stand up and grasp them and nail down a regular starting spot. It can also breed continuity on the pitch and a togetherness.

Yes I know but who could have predicted this crazy series of events which have lead to us being woefully short up front and therefore having zero chances of promotion?? That's right, every fucking one with half an ounce of common sense. I don't give a fk what happened with May or Taylor, it's just another monumental fk up by whoever is in charge of building the squad. I mean it's surprising we've got 3 games out of Danny Ward and that's before we analyse his performances where he's contributed the square root of fk all as we knew he probably would. Healey? Groin injury? Well knock me down with a feather. We don't even have Harrat now to come on and run around for ten mins at the end of a game. Bit like last season really when we let Rhodes go. Net spend of plus £4M and we don't have a striker, well done team, great work!
