One of the good guys in football by all accounts. He was one of Warnock's favourites as well. He had cancer a few years back, it appears from his wife's statement that it reared its ugly head again. Teared up a bit reading that, he passed on knowing he was loved by lots of people.

When people rightly say it puts things into perspective it really does and football should be way down the list of those ‘things’.

Football really is just a game, ups and downs all the time but why people get so worked up and angry that they start calling people they don't know or have even met "c****" left, right and centre on here is beyond me. Or trying to make someone that has bought our club and spent a lot of money trying to do good things feel shit on X to the point they feel they have to respond and defend themselves is again very very strange. Do 10 things right but miss out on one thing and people lose their marbles. Maybe not the right place to be putting this but this story is something that is actually sad, not whether we signed another striker or not, considering he seemed like a genuinely nice bloke and hadn't even made 40. If nothing else it should for some people put in perspective some of the disgusting crap that's been getting posted on here recently. RIP Sol. |

Jeez - Awfel news 😢 and puts ma bitching about HTAFC defeats to Walsall and Rotherham into perspective for sure...
I remember him being up in Scotland a few years ago at both Dunfermline and Hibernian and being a very popular player and if he scored they played ‘La Bamba’ !
