i would like to comment on the moron in the crowd that jump six rows forward when huddersfield scored taking out an old lady and a man with his grandson.he then started giving it the big one to all and sundry and laughing over what he had done.the woman was in a dazed state and the man and his grandson had to leave the ground due to there injuries.i hope the club ban these morons as it is only a matter of time before they cause serious injury.did anyone else see this incident,i for one will be reporting it to the club and hope any fan that seen this will do the same,and just to prove how guilty he was him and his mates left before the police could arrest him,what a wanker

I didn’t see this but this modern trend of teenagers acting about when teams have scored is all well and good as long as they keep it within their own group. I’m all for having a laugh but knocking down other people is risky business as one day someone will give it back.
I remember the surges in the grounds when it was all standing, I used to love it, so it isn’t a new thing, but kids seem to think falling over seats and all piling on is funny. Have a laugh but not at other peoples expense.

There's a certain breed of fan who goes to the match with the following priorities
1. Behave in a way that impresses other men by being as obnoxious as possible
2. Watch a football game
It's fucking tiresome. Away days are naturally always a bit more rowdy and getting carried away as part of a noisy crowd is one of life's great joys, but this isn't the first and won't be the last time where someone's day gets ruined.

I witnessed this from a distance yesterday. Idiotic and dangerous. Two finger salutes to home fans and going a bit crazier than usual when a goal is scored away from home isn't a new thing. This piling over seats and jumping on people (some of whom will no doubt be extremely frightened) has progressively crept in over the last ten years or so. Presuming the imbeciles do it in case someone could be filming it on their mobile phone, and it might make it onto social media. It's certainly not a natural, joyous response to your team scoring a goal.

Shame away days attract these brain dead cretins. Hopefully the CCTV can be shared and other people won't have to have their afternoon ruined in future. Not like the old cowshed surge when seats are involved, great way to break an ankle or worse, especially for anyone elderly.

These kind of situations are made worse but all seater stadiums, back in days of terraces there was plenty of room to surge to the front in goal celebrations but one has to be mindful of other people these days, although will they have committed a criminal offence to be arrested? If so what would the offence be?

I’m surprised they managed to get a safety certificate. There is a maximum rake fro stadium design in UK regs. As its a fairly recent ground it will have been designed to the approved docs or it would never have been signed off by Building Control. |

Perhaps we need a law that states all fans need to sit down in all seater stadiums. I stood up most of the game, as most away games when the stands are full. Not because I wanted to do but the only way I could see. As has been mentioned the stand at Rotherham is quite steep and it doesnt take much to tumble over the seats.

Completely selfish twats who have no regard for others. I used to love a good rowdy away day with excessive alcohol consumption but I always considered others around me, whether that be on public transport, in the pub or at the ground itself. One of these days they will land on someone who will give them a good hiding.

Segregation would be a good idea. A section for the more rowdy end who want to stand up all match and possibly act like a bit of a dick. And a section for the more civilised away fan who wants to sit in the seat they have purchased and not be bothered by some coked up little scrote behaving like a selfish man child.
I've no idea what you'd call the categories though. Another possibly is that the clubs and the stewards do their jobs and stop people standing up and make them sit in the seat they've purchased.
I think safe standing is a brilliant idea but until it's implemented people should sit down so as not to inconvenience anyone else who might be behind and not want to stand. Many people physically can't stand for 90 minutes but I don't suppose for a minute that even crosses the minds of these morons.

Years a go!! 70's/80's we would all go mad when we scored but like others have said, there was loads of room to do this. Away games were brilliant but it was all standing or sit in the stand if it was a big away following but the crowd would always surge forward and when it was packed!! you would end up yards away from where you were.
These days, a lot of the scrotes don't have any scruples, no respect i mean we would even apolagise for swearing on the bus if a woman was present but football theses days has seen a massive increase in female fans with some swearing just like the men.
