The first in a run of home games where we went goal-mad. 20 goals for in just 4 games. 4-0 v Exeter, 4-0 v Orient, 6-1 v Dagenham and 6-0 (when it could and should have been well into double figures) v Wycombe. We’d also just been on a 5-match winless run and away from home couldn’t buy a win. It still ended up as an 80-point season. Love the tie Rhodsy - proper beau that and as big as ya fucking head ! |

Only time i can remember that happening it was Jordan Rhodes v Exeter. Edit…beat me to it. Gone are the days when you actually forget which game a certain hat trick was scored in a season or 2. It's rare we even get anyone getting a brace. Yes, only two braces last season - Koroma v Wednesday and you know who at Watford, so Danny has both the most recent hat-tricks and most recent brace. Only three the season before - Anjorin, Ruffels and Pearson (and what should have been two own goals at Luton). For Bassingham - the last hat-trick at home - James Vaughan in a 5-1 win v Bournemouth and it included a penalty! |
