It has been on Town website for ages now rearranged for 24th. This match does not figure in our fixture list nor is it on Sky's fixture list. Have emailed the club twice with no reply. It had better be true as decided to make a mini holiday of it staying over to get both games in.

As in this month?
Not on the BBC either if that’s the case.

The club only announced it this week, it's deffo on. Must admit I thought it was earlier but would tally with me booking hotel on 11th for the games. My mind must be going if I cannot recall the week just gone. Still think a bit odd not showung on either club site Sky or BBC. Orient v Birmoingham is showing but theu announced new date 10 days ago.

You are cracking up, Leyton Orient v Birmingham was played 3 weeks ago (Aug 24th), take it you mean Peterborough?........It was a surprise that Blackpool agreed to the 24th Sept, they will play four Tuesdays in succession now.

Anyone any idea when we might know about the Orient game being on or off?

Anyone any idea when we might know about the Orient game being on or off? A fortnight before the game when the international squads are announced?

How many international players do you need to have for cancellation? 3?
Who are they Koroma and the 2 Northern Irish lads? Does Hodge count with Under 21’s. Do those teams have games? End of questions.

End of questions. Yes its three call ups at any level, Orient had 3 in September break & Wycombe (Nov/March) had only two......You don't have to request a postponement, so we could chose whether to play Wycombe if they only receive 2 call ups.

Sounds to me like the Orient and Wycombe game will both get moved. Shame as i’d look forward to going to them on a Saturday probably wouldn’t bother midweek.

Town will go two clear at the top if they win both home games & possibly five clear before the 3pm starting games a week Saturday if we beat Reading in the early kick off.......Incentive to apply pressure to those below with games in hand.

I usually watch Match Of The Day and i caught a bit of the European games on Wednesday night. I remember Keith Macklin commentating on Yorkshire TV in the late 60's i think it was on a Sunday afternoon and after the game there use to be about 100 fans waiting at the bottom of the terrace for Keith Macklin to interview one of the Town players. We would surround them hoping that we would appear on TV and did on a couple of occasions, i would be 8/9 and my brother 12/13 and the fans were of all ages. can you imagine them doing that these days!!.

My appetite for football has never changed since being a kid. I watch football every day of the week and I’ll never stop.
